    Haha nice.

Well getting rid of them is part of the problem. I could bin them, but I would feel terrible putting all those precious metals into landfill. True I could get them recycled, but then I stumble across the issue of they work, so chucking them out would be wrong! And what if I need a spare or a friend does?....and so it goes on.

Nice collection though! I don't have any real place to store mine, so they are shoved in wherever they will fit an I wont have to look at them much. :D

Why not just nip it down to having two spares, and give the rest away to a charity shop like cancer research or something. Win win?

Yeah those are my 485's, great headphones at a time but they still work and hold their own!

The big silver one is an Antec P160. From when Antec made good cases, from Aluminium.

That's not even a third of it though

The local council yard is the recycling center by the way, so if I skipped them there, they'd be getting recycled.

Most if not all 10 of the ones on that shelving are test rigs for older hardware, so I need them occasionally :)

I literally love this. Take it to LAN once you've crossfired it and watch peoples worried face's when you play at full ultra on BF3.

Yeah and well.. To be honest, if I do crossfire the damn thing, it will happen on dual HD6970's.

that would be awesome. It would be even cooler on a 15" "round" CRT, but the low resolution would make the game easier to run and negate some of the cool factor :D

Meh, it's just a buildup of stuff that I don't think is even worth postage costs to be honest. If you're talking about the stuff in the store that is... Like I said, the 10 or so that are on the shelves there are test rigs for older hardware, like AMD 939, AM2, 754 boards and Intel 478, 775 and so on. I still do a lot of work on legacy hardware, unfortunately

Isent a load of legacy stuff to the tip the other day, I've got none left now, think all I've got is an old socket A box which I'm hoping to sell to a friend for £30.

At the last count, I had 15 working socket A boards and about 25 to 30 working Socket A CPUs, mostly Athlons and AXP's. I think I've gotten rid of some since though :)

And Unicorn has just mentioned about every CPU I own baring Via. Most of my old steel cases went to case heaven. I still have my Antec 902(10.5 Kg empty - the box says), full tower Lian-li, some kind of CoolerMaster HTPC case, H20-C7 and Notalis to play with.
See, even I can minimize once in a while.

Collect away, Unicorn. You have the space? Fill it.
