Scratch Build – In Progress TRON Lightcycle - MotY 3rd Place!

Nothing wrong with a bump now & again for your favorite mods I think , maybe bit-tech should have a masterpieces section but even then there would be sooooo many or even a sweet gallery like MDPC but for bit-tech projects, either that or create a folder in your favorites & add all your favorite mods .

Sorry I must have missed this post. But to answer your question, yes! That was me. ;-) Was not used to standing all day long lol. Glad you were able to stop by and check out the case!

Next stop for the TRON case is Geforce LAN 6, aboard the USS Hornet aircraft carrier, in Alameda, CA. October 14-16. That's going to be an epic lan event! Tickets sold out in a matter of hours. If you managed to grab a ticket, stop by and say hi!

Wow, I didn't expect the results so soon! Thanks everyone, I'm honored to have placed 3rd in such a great event. Every year it gets tougher! Congrats to all, especially Peter. I barely held you off in the CM contest, so it was really no surprise you took this one like a Boss!

Congrats on getting 3rd place, as bulldogjeff said I knew this build had to be in the top few too.

 

So often the brides maid and never the bride. A MOTY win will come soon enough I'm sure of it. But it's won in other comps so it's swings and roundabouts really. Goes to show how good the top builds really are when they are slugging it out in so many comps. That for me sets them all a step above the rest.

 

Thanks Riekmaharg, and well said Jeff. It really shows how subjective these mod contests are. One case can do really well in one, but not even place in another. And especially in contests where public voting determines the winner, all bets are off then!

I will most definitely be back with another project (or two) this year, but it will remain to be seen if I can top TRON or not. Methinks that will be quite a tall order!
