thanks ^^ Actually there's not that much dof in it, I added some in post with zdepth, other than that it's just rendered motion blur (granted, alot of motion blur ).
That's pretty fast. I can remember rendering animation on my AMD XP2000+ .... several minutes per frame ... took a month for a 2min 30s animation.
woah that's some nice render times, i tried to render a small animation some times ago, but each frame took about 8-10mins but i was using vray, so i gave up :S
Yeah dof and motion blur is a real pain in renderers such as vray and mental ray, I usually use vectorpasses and zdepth when using them. This thing was rendered in houdini using mantra, which gives you motion blur basically for free thanks to the micropolygon engine.
Playing with the new features in Cinema 4d R13. I don't know if this works, since I've never been able to focus anaglyph properly.
Amazing ... this is interesting. What did you use to make that ? I did try to make a diamond shader but it requires a lot of lightray recursivity with difrac and refrac if you do not want to have a black spot inside of it (no light reaching the "heart" of the diamond).
Those aren't diamonds, shape's all wrong Could be a quartz, or a topaz (or a lot of other things, but hey) from the crystal shape... amozinite/apatite colouration. Very nice Dark, I'm more impressed by the rough stuff than the crystals, it looks very convincing.
I do know they atd not diamonds . just satin' that shader for cristals are touchy to make . those look like amazonite or lapis lazuli
thanks ^^ I just wanted to make them "crystal" like, didn't had any real material in mind wheni made them.
Not hasteling, it just kina' my job at the moment if you're wanting to do any more minerals/crystals, this is probably your best stop for shape/refraction/dispersion/inclusion/etcetera data.
The work here just gets better and better!! I've been busy with my second year of college recently but I've been able to bang out a few renders in the past weeks, and as always I update my deviantART before I come to bit-tech and not all my work gets posted here so take a look pleaseee > here! I apologise in advance if I kill anyones bandwidth Anyways;
