:hehe: Gotta admit the sweet weather all of a sudden is soooooo nice, thought summer had been & gone all cloudy like until next year :D but I wanted to do a good outdoor shoot when I completed it but the weather was just too unreliable & the other day I couldn't help but think wow that lighting would be perfect for a photoshoot so couldn't resist :D & looking forward to a bulldogs scratch build mate .

For the extra back LED strip I just extended the cables, sleeved them & put a fan connector on the end & then sleeved the LED strip to tone it down some & it will be a permanent fixture as it looks right :thumb: so yeah 1 more little photo shoot for the night shots within the next couple of days :D I did just take a shot of it without the tripod & with auto focus & nothing is in focus  only manual focus works good for me :D so yeah 1 last shoot very soon.

Got the final bit done, an extra white led strip which I extended sleeved & put a 3 pin fan connector on the end so it could pass through to the cable stash section in the bottom & sleeved the led to dim it a lot & found facing it into the corner was best for a subtle light, enjoy these final revised night photos with correct lighting :).

I guess the idea is to put up more "completed" photos on the log 'till Mod Of The Year time- just to give yourself a better shout :D

Just kidding, the lighting is wonderful, it's evenly spread and never too bright, the icing on the cake for such a well- made case.

Well done on a truly amazing build. I've been following this thread for a while, but didn't really have anything to say. But now you have finished it, I am in awe of how beautiful it is :).

    :D Thanks mate :thumb:.

:D After thinking about some extra lighting I wasn't sure if I could be bothered messing with it some more but the extra nudge from Ulysses & Jase was needed lol, yeah it lights up just enough to make it that bit more even for light spread, glad I did it :).

Cheers Jase :thumb: parts were invisible before that :D.

    :) Thank you yassarikhan786 :thumb:.

    Love it!

Thread is a little to long to see if it has already been asked, but ever thought about copper socket heads? Just for the parts where you used black ones now.

Cheers Alex, just a tiny bit more light but it definitely helps :).

:D Cheers Gnu :) I doubt it will be long before the thought bubbles turn into rough sketches & then a nice design & then into an actual work in progress & then an actual finished piece :D I'm already looking forward to starting all over again :hehe: but I want to plan it well, even better planned than this one, still making my mind up about getting a chopsaw & bar bender, I don't think I'll use a router for metal work but it would be very handy for wood work & acrylic :thumb:.

That picture took a while to load up .
Thanks l3p :) I don't think it got asked but it did go through my thoughts & had a quick look around at the time of adding the copper but usually have to buy bulk or pay high when looking for specialist bits so I avoided :).

I replaced all the black ones with stainless steel button & coutersink ones so they blend in with the case better, the expansion card button heads & the pci/io piece fixings the heads are painted copper, the only place where I used the black ones was on the mobo for mounting.

I could definitely carry on adding to this case but I'd rather leave it how it is now, not too good to get too wrapped up in a project which I believe I was, I sit & look at it now & it's awesome :D so I'm happy with how it is & can start thinking of the next one :thumb:.

Oh yeah an update on the corsair force 3 ssd, it has been perfectly well since using it in IDE mode, still early days & it lacks the stated speed but it is reliable so far & that is more important than an extra 100MB/s :).

You're right, got exact the same feeling with my previous mod.
I'm still improving it but not updating it any more, closed the chapter :)
Maybe i should have been sooner with this message :D

Yeah it can take over you when getting stuck into a project :D, I'll have to plan out when I'll dedicate to doing any on my future mods like 2 or 3 hours a day rather than going at it til it's done even when shattered, a bit of a time table which I'll stick to, as long as the plan is right then it won't be any time wasted :) cheers l3p :thumb:.

Thanks Craig, just enough extra light really helped, glad I snapped out of lazy mode to add it :D.

Thanks voigts :), before the extra touch of light it didn't quite look right with it being a touch too light in the bottom section but the countersunk mesh catches the added light perfectly without it being too much so it just looks right all over now :).

Thanks peteski, look forward to your first mods mate :).

:D Cheers Angel I'll be aiming to out do myself again on my next :D got nothing planned yet or even an idea of what way I'll go next but hopefully I'll have something worth doing & ready to start by the end of the year :thumb: it will be tougher to do the design layout this time I think because it will be an entirely new not based on anything case (if that changes I'll be sure to acknowledge it in the log) & I need to make my mind up if I'll be going small with a side project server to cut out the 6 hdd I usually put into them :).

:D Sorry about the late reply been getting my gaming fix after going almost all year with virtually no gaming so have some goodens to catch up on & theres so many awesome titles coming real soon :D, currently enjoying portal 2 :), thought I had gone off gaming but playing some good ones reminded me why I like gaming :).

Nice job on the lighting, I always prefer when you can see the hardware illuminated in low light conditions :)

Thanks Graham I had to sleeve & face the added strip into the corner, any other way was just too bright, those phobya high density strips pack a lot of light but nice & even, it's still nice & subtle while sat next to it though which is exactly how I wanted it to be :thumb:.

Glad I can properly unwind now & I'm getting up in the mornings & getting a proper sleep each night at last :D, time to enjoy other peoples logs play some awesome games & start putting some new ideas together for my next project :D.
