Going to do as much of my Uni work as I can before it comes out; not going to be feeling overly productive when it's out :[

Just had a twang of pain remembering how much my wallet will be hurting over the next month - this, Batman, Battlefield 3 to name but a few... Also what makes it worse are the games I haven't yet got round to buying (DE:HR & GoW3 instantly spring to mind....)

*Hunts around for loose change* :(

I remember just looking up at the stars in Morrowind with the same sense of awe and wondering why all games didn't have such pretty night skies...

If it's not coded right, even quad 580's won't help you there.

I don't usually like magic-based games, but this might just be worth picking up. The attention to detail sounds immense.

Anything the devs get wrong the modders will fix in a couple of months. Can't wait.

Can't freaking wait. Time will definitely be take off work.

I just really hope the engine works well on PC, with no annoyances and good SLI scaling - a tall order!

I'm really disappointed by everything I read. Sounds like an Oblivion patch or mod to me. Definitely not buying this.

And Oblivion was a Mod or Patch of Morrowind...and same with Assassin Creeds and same with any sequels! I'm sorry, but thats what it sounded like you were saying, all sequels are going to carry over some of there past games, they all do it.

As for the preview...I cannnot wait at all..

Cannot wait, might seriously have to take some time off work. @Tyrmot I remember that as well Morrowind was absolutely amazing for it's time, I actually feel they lost a bit of that awesome in Oblivion hopefully it's back in Skyrim. (Although I think what was lost is that PC was no longer the lead platform)

can't wait. I hope they've fixed broken leveling system where you could give a warrior as main skills something stupid like running and so on and get blade and heavy armour on max while on level 9 - as I did when I played Oblivion second time, in other words since everything levelled with you, I was on level 9 killing everything with one or 2 smashes because my blade skill and heavy armour were on max. Because you would level only if your major skills reached certain nr of exp, not minor ones so it was easy to set minor skills the ones you use the most and major skills the ones you don't use at all or use very little - this needs to be fixed for Skyrim to really shine

For a laugh you should go read the Eurogamer preview as the author was the guy sharpening his sword while everyone else fapped to the dragon and resurected a dead wolf. It gives a nice balance to how to different gamers can have completely different experiences in the same game. This user comment sums up the game for me though.

Every single Bethesda game I have ever played has been a horrific bug ridden POS on release. I will probably give it a few months before I give it a go.
