and speaking of jets and chopper, its so awful that they dummify BF2's controls. it was PERFECT (IMHO) in BF2. it wasnt easy to learn, but once u master it, u get results. now its just a bunch of flyboys wannabies that get shot down by any half-decent engineer who unlocked AA. and 3rd person view?? ugh.... i was overpowered in BF2, and i somewhat agree, but this is more than just a nerf. this is a sterilize.

i LOVE air vehicles in BF2 (from blackhawks to F-18), and im excited to see them in BF3. but in all honesty, i wouldn't miss it if they take it away if their state is like the ones in BETA. thats saying alot for me.

guess ill be ranking tanks first.


oh well. nothing's perfect. but im sure ill still enjoy this game!

That would suck, I use 3rd person a lot, even in tanks but especially when flying helicopters

 

Dam this, had bf3 preordered with amazon on the 16 march for 24 quid. Now i checked the order status and its up to 29.98. Screw you amazon.
Anyone recommend a decent place to buy it?

What I've always wondered is how I've actually been effective AA with just a tank. BF3 and BFBC2 alike, somehow I've always had some good luck killing choppers with tanks.

Yes thats true. I´ve ordered on 2 march and the prcie is still 48€ for the LE. There must be something arkward going on with your order!

Been in contact with them, they say it still £29.98. I think the fly b~~tards have cancelled the order and put it tho again. Anyway they'll not get a penny from me. cancelled it this morning. They were very cheeky about it, so some other company will be getting my cash. Any way there dispatch time was a joke too. Never again amazon!
Think I'll give ziip a try, they sound descent, anyone here used them before?

I'm getting the boxed with code myself. I like to have the physical copy of a game to limit downloads when I reinstall windows (which I will be doing a bit more these days).

 

na bugger amazon, just ordered it from ziip, will be able to play on release day (they eamil the code from your box to ye) and still get a boxed copy in the post a few days later. how cool is that!
