Yep, it is better in a way. I don't know why I'm complaining, lol. I have work and get home at 7.00 and don't get time to play on weekdays anyway.

Patience is a virtue, but holy crap is it being tested this week.

 

right, i've decided. i'll box up my gtx580 and play singleplayer at my parents over the weekend. got my housemate to email me the key when game gets delivered.

tempted to even take the whole desktop unit home, but that's too much hassle, and way too many settings are related to screen resolution and my router/NAS combination.

Zavvi - it'll probably take two or three days to arrive. I was going to switch to Asda at the last moment to save a couple of quid, but couldn't be assed.

Well at least it should be virtually bug free by then!

 

that just made me jizz'd. but thinking of how it would play out in CONQUEST just made my head explode. apache, abrams, and warthog? in a beach assault? oh my......

 

That is the one good thing, and I can't say that id rather play BF3 than travel in Asia, but with bot BF3, Skyrim and Shogun 2 having to wait till that time I fear that I will become one with my chair XD

BTW the first few reviews seem to pup up different places.

this reminds me of me, in BF3 Caspian Boarder. still need to get hang of the helicopter.

While I wait, can anyone recommend a good sound card to get for BF3? I haven't purchased a dedicated sound card in about 5 or 6 years and haven't kept up at all. After watching those videos on IIIBetterthanHaloIII's Youtube channel I decided I need a better sound card. The sound design is un-*******-believable.

How much do you want to spend, the best bang for buck is the Asus Xonar DX. I have a Creative X-Fi Titanium. I love the cards sound, but the drivers are pretty poor.

Also, I can't get in yet, says 'your account is not allowed to login'.....
