Anyone watching the Gadget Show's BF3 Simulator thing?

I do wonder how much EA are paying.

You can play BF3 right now if you want guys. I know a few people on other Forums who downloaded a proxy switcher that allows you to select an IP from another country and pass the Time Check.

    Well it was certainly interesting...

I'm surprised they used mounted Paintball Guns to simulate gun fire... thought they would have used that Jacket which had inflatable Air Pockets, but i guess this was more dramatic.

Yeah it was one of the better Gadget Shows of late; interesting setup and would have loved to have had a go myself.

    TOTALLY TRUE.

Lots of people playing in servers full of players, nobody else has done it around here?

Playing SP now; Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings -> Tick "Use a proxy for your LAN") -> Address: 210.107.100.251 Port: 8080

Korean proxy works fine, can't play multiplayer, but fewk it :D

Edit: The proxies' very slow; so once you've activated and unlocked the game, just play normally :)

    insta-death looks like it's still there. :(

when he see the other guy shooting at him, his health should be decreasing, not a second later.

There are lots of people playing multi too.

Do a match search in battlelog, servers are mostly full.

Do you see the Korean activation risky?
They could really ban you from a game you actually bought? EULA says nothing about it.

UK gets screwed over again, most of Europe goes live on Thursday yet we have to wait till friday.

Proxy only lets you play the sp and not multiplayer which is the main part of the game.

AFAIK the proxy lets you play MP as well but not on UK servers.

I'm content with playing through the SP campaign & playing MP on the official UK release on Friday.

One thing I can say about the SP it sure is purty.

Yeah running a VPN to play online has some draw backs though wont get you banned as it's not against any TOS. It may cause issues with your game and where it thinks you are in the world. Oh and connecting to US servers and others is going to be hell. I might give it a go and play the SP. Depends if I can be bothered lol

Two missions in; Single players a lot of fun if a bit QTE heavy (At least 4 separate per mission normally :p)
