Project Cubitek Mini Tank “Chopper” The Strong Modder: LeandroJVarini Base The project is based on a trademark case Cubitek Mini Tank model was designed for mini ITX motherboards, which use a zotac Z68 motherboard and Core i7 2600k. The because of this name The project name is Chopper The Strong because of the character in the series of anime, manga, movies and ova One Piece, chopper is the smallest of the principal characters of the story about a young luffy the great treasure that seeks to become the king of pirates. One Piece written by genius Eiichiro Oda, chopper is the doctor of the crew of the straw Hat pirates it is a little blue nose reindeer ate the Hito Hito fruit of the devil in Mi appearance that gave both human hybrid when reindeer and other powers, I am fan of manga, anime and comics decided to make this tribute to one of the most engaging character in the series One Piece who are already more than 10 years. The project The project consists in modifying the internal structure to receive hardware to be placed around a complete system water cooler for all components of the same, external modifications will be minimal because it is more a case any small change in external visual becomes conspicuous. Materials for modification Aluminum plate, acrylic, mesh, paint electrostatic black, screws and rivets with black finish, Sleeving, adhesive carbon fiber and if possible some parts made of carbon fiber among others. hardware CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k Motherboard: A-E Zotac Z68 Case: Cubitek Mini Tank Memory: Kingston Value 2x4GB 1333MHz (possibly to be replaced) Storage: Still under evaluation PSU: Antec TPQ 1200w (possibly to be replaced) GPU: Not yet descidido Sound Card: Creative X-FI Titanium USB Accessory: LED, CC, Fan controller watercooler CPU Block: XSPC Raystorm Mosfet Block: Koolance MVR-40 and Koolance MVR Heat Transfer Plate will be modified Chipset Block: Koolance CHC-122 Block Memory: RAM Universal Bitspower Water Cooling Module GPU Block: Not yet descidido Radiators: 1x 120mm Black Ice SR1, SR1 2x 140mm Black Ice Fans: 120mm Ultrakaze 2x, 4x 140mm Yate Loon Pumps: 2x Swiftech MCP655 Reservatoir: Koolance RP-452X2 Dual 5.25 Tubing: Tygon R3400 7 / 16 "ID (9 / 16" OD) Black Fittings: Compression Bitpower Accessory: flow sensor and temperature among others Deadline for termination: No specific date Photos: Mobo (this will not be used VGA) Case, Accessories, thumbscrews on the side, several cables Everyone is asking me how I'm going for a VGA big in this case because it is tiny? Yes it is little more like "tony chopper tnoy" he has a grandiose interior! Here some pictures of how much space I have for internal placement of large VGAs Two 140mm fans + 120mm one to simulate the placement of a second radiator + fan on top as well as plenty of 27 cm from the VGA GTX280 can put greater (this will not be used gtx280) radiator in the front? of course! Overview with VGA Awaiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry for my bad English!
Cool project...but I really have a hard time with such a large mini-ITX case. I don't really get it There are smaller cases than this which can fit full ATX, so a case like this seems pretty wierd to me. Anyhow, looking forward to seeing what you can do with it
Thanks, this week coming new upgrades! Thank you friend! I hope that with future photos you understand my crazy ideas! HIHIHIHI
I like the case and hardware But cant you edit your pictures so the HUGE red part with the deer and text gets away? It looks great for the first picture, but just makes the eyes bleed when its on the 27 others. A subtle watermark always looks best on pictures, or else it takes away the focus (PS, hurry up and get some modding going, or this belongs in planning)
Project logs need to contain images of work in progress. Moved to Modding for now... Please let me know when you have some work on show and we'll move it back.
Thank you my friend! Sorry was not on purpose I've attacks and the next will be smaller and menas much! Sorry to have posted in wrong area, thanks for the correction! ---------------------------- A small upgrade on the project with the aim of it is a machine little more than with high performance, how about it for 3 monitors! Next new VGA upgrade!
