Guys I am about to redo that piece in order to make it more ... "real looking" !
I have some texture ideas. I will use a similar painting technique to give it a "building" look but please let me know what you think about the textures :

I'd go for sample 4 ! Loving the look of this mod. Truly inspiring.

 

4 is kinda neat, but 3 I love or a polished granite look.

 

I kind of like the look of #2, but #4 is also cool

 

4 or 3 would look the best imho

 

Glad youre back and hope youre settled in well in your new home. As for the updates simply breathtaking beautiful.

As for the texture...hmmm..as the building is already looking so organic i think 2 would overdo it a bit...and i cant decide between 3 and 4^^

 

I'd prefer the left-hand side of #4....

Hey my friend, wassup? I ve been through many difficulties as I did most of the moving all by my self and my health isnt at its best for that (my back) but I eventually made it thanks!! Thanks for the nice words too, I ll post some pictures later on with the process!

2 is freaky cool, but wouldn't work here. If you could pull off 3, it would be awesome with the current color technique.

 

In this case, the architecture meets the modding and thats why I like this mod sooooo much! With your skills and Hadid unique design, an incredible mod will be born!

 

Thanks Cheaps for the tip, as the most people choose between 3-4 I did something in between by combining these 2 textures and other techniques too. I will post some pictures laterz and tell me what you think! Hopefully I wont have to redo it again!! ;p

Here are some new shots after the addition of texture effects and also new painting with more silver spots and brighter approach. I also did some crackling "tricks" on the vents were the darker/black area is. I used a variety of textures, they dont interfere with the whole curvy design thing but they definitely give it a more ...serious look!! (see quote from Joker)

Please let me know what you think! We are not after something regular -anyone can do- approach but something unique to emphasize this creation.

PS: THE RED MARKS ON THE PICTURES ARE CAUSED BY A REFLECTION OR SD CORRUPTION.

Hmm think what I'm trying to say is you kicked the doors of awesomeness down a bit ago Alex & we are now in unknown word land right about now , no sheet & it just keeps getting better, holy moly , gotta love a bit of self doubt it's an element which makes people better their work I think & can make you do crazy awesome creations, this is looking totally different in an excellent way & is simply amazing, love how you never fail to make my brain go crazy from awesome overloads .

Or in plain english this is awesome, special & very very unique I guess not taking a break from modding works wonders .
