A friend of mine showed me a conversation of his on Skype.

Derp: hey, can you send me the computing homework as I can't download Dreamweaver.
    Friend: Use notepad.
    Derp: I don't have a mac.
Friend (& me): are you serious? *facepalm*

Customer: "Have you got the Echo Falls that's on offer?"
Me: "Certainly, did you want the white, the red or the rosé?"
    Customer: "Yes."

I'll put this one's punchline in spoiler tags because it was an accidental slip of the tongue, not the best thinking.....

My IT teacher bought cameras for use in his classroom.

We were getting prepped for mounting the cameras up on the wall.

Our (not as bright) junior technician was poking fun at what I was doing.

I poked fun back, saying, while holding a screw in my hand, "I'm going to screw you."

    Then he said, "
What is it with you with screwing and mounting???
    "

Finally, he was like >_< and said, "WHY DID I SAY THAT?!?"

I was in Argos one day and a girl was filling the usual item number order form next to me. She turned and asked me 'what does quitty mean?' I was like, 'errr what?' She kept reiterating it and then pointed to the item quantity box, labelled 'QTY'. [me] 'errm that's the quantity you want, the number of items' :eeek: :hehe:

yeah remember when I was taking cisco classes to pass my first ccna.. it was so funny

it was based in a high school.. and the teacher used to always comment on how unruly the kids were and how nice it was to teach adults at night..

anyway, a old guy didn't like one of the 30 somethings slapping the monitor and told him to stop.. next thing you know it was like something out of star trek with spock and kirk fighting to the death..

I put that music on the net and was ready to stream it live if it happened again.. remember walking in the next day and my buddy was like- look there he is! and he said it so loud he got the old guys attention :hehe:

I tried to sell my EAH5450 (Silent) card and my 8800 GTS 512 in CeX, (basically a pawn shop for computing/gaming parts). After kicking my heels for an hour while my parts were 'tested', I returned to be told that while the EAH5450 was fine,

"as soon as I plugged the 8800 in, it started making a racket"

I argued for about five minutes that the card had a loud fan and until the drivers kicked in (which obviously would not have been installed during their 'testing' regime), it would spin up at full speed. Realising I wasn't getting anywhere, I left...

hm that fan spinning at thousands of rpm should be totally silent, i think theres something wrong there. try taking out the fan that should fix the noise :)
