    Hi!

Thanks for your interset and the time you spend to explain me your point of view...

Your probably right on all of the points... I'll think about those and try to make those in practice... :thumb:

    Bye

Hi, even i hurt my left shoulder, i can still use my right hand to file the side of the VGA shell...

And I did it!!! Found a new design for holes...

    Let's show you:

And i benched in the same conditions:
    800 Mhz for core clock
    1600 Mhz for shader clock
    1800 Mhz for memory clock
    0,987mV for core voltage

And the temp decrease from 91°C to 75°C. So i obtain 16°C less than next time. Not so bad for some holes..

But it's not finished yet and I'm not satisfied yet too...

    You're welcome.

However, there are no fancy new ideas in my previous post. Those are just points about airflow so don't take them as the best way to aircool GPUs :D
If it gave you some ideas then it was helpful.

    More thoughts:
There are options to make aircooling efficient enough, like heatpipes, different heatsinks, cold/hot air channeling, fan reducer(s), underclocking, leaving SLI/CF out, PCI-e risers/adapters, more. It depends on the design what combination works the best. Also, brute-force approach does have its limits with 'normal' fans. That is, they can't create much pressure to compensate restricted airflow.

    That's awesome!

Really like the idea with custom GPU air cooler. :)
    How is the temps now?

    Thanks Dude!!

But the paint is not mate, it's satin finish....

Building the second VGA and finish it pretty soon. My first VGA teach me, and i'll not repeat mistakes.

I benched today with better Overclocked frequencies and lower VGA voltage:

    850 Mhz for core clock
    1700 Mhz for shader clock
    1800 Mhz for memory clock
    0,975mV for core voltage

And the temp rised to 77 °C

Under this line, you can see frequencies recommanded by Nvidia for the GF104 (gpu of a 460 gtx):

Je n'y suis pas pour grand chose, c'est un GPU trés souple, un peu comme le i7 2600k de chez Intel. Ils montent trés facilement en fréquences...

    Merci quand même! ;)

Il monte bien, mais les températures sont vraiment bonnes pour cette fréquence :)
