My friends are currently raving about it.

The only reason they like it is because tons of other people play it too. They never play single player, except for zombies.

I don't even see why CoD games have single player. Its usually shoddy, to say the least. The multiplayer is alright, but nothing innovative.

I hate the kill confirm thing, why would you need to confirm a kill?

To try to prevent campers and incidentally snipers, which removes all point of using a sniper rifle.

What is wrong with camping? Anyone who camps in the same spot for more than one kill is going down, if you can't work your way around a camper then you aren't very good.

Agree. I can understand why people have grown tired of the franchise and its lack of innovation. However, I have been playing COD since the very first game released on PC. I have played all the games across every format and it is what it is. It's a pure pick up and play game that throws you straight into the action.

I really missed the diversity of MW2 classes in BLOPS. In MW2 I had a sniper class, a running class and an assault class. That went in BLOPS as the perks made so little difference IMO. MW3 seems to have a bit more variation but not as much as MW2 :(

Is it me or is MW3 more fun than BF3?

    Queue the flames... :)

Depends on the Gameplay. MW3 lets you run around on your own more. Trying that in BF3 will just get you shot in the face. (Plus I never seem to be able to find anyone who can work in a team in BF:BC2)

Admittedly; Weapons do feel more satisfying in MW3. It's more mindless fun that keeps you grinning. BF3 is more the tactical, "I am going to move up with my squad and mess up that building and sniper within" game.

This is when i would read the steam forums to see what people think of the game. I've gotten pretty good at picking out the bs from the truth.

No flames needed. Different games appeal to different people.

    The game is meh.

I bought it to play with a bunch of mates back home, and I really enjoy the social side of it. But not sure I'll play this on my own tbh, which says a lot for the game.

Haven't touched SP yet, think I'll do that one lazy weekend. But saying that waiting for new PC parts to play BF3, so I doubt this will see much time.

    BF3 definitely wins this round...

Why would you need to capture a flag?

Its a game mode which encourages action and a fast pace so its a good idea.

Got to say, am enjoying the Kill Confirmed mode.

It adds a completely new dynamic to the game, and when playing with friends it really brings out teamwork.
