got my copy delivered today (shopto.net), now i'm preloading (40 minutes left) with BF3 keeping me busy i think i might wait for a patch (and mods) to come out before i dive in.
It seems daft that it doesn't pre load from the disk instead of pulling 6 gigs off steam mods might take a while I don't think there releasing the creation kit for a couple of weeks
It will happily install from the disc once it's actually available for play in your area. The 'pre-load' is just a direct copy of the un-expanded disk contents; it would make no sense copying the entire disc directory to your hard drive or SSD when you'd just have to install it from there anyway... Installed the new drivers... Just about to fire the game up now! TSB
Well my disc arrived from Game today, installed (via Steam) and ready to rock and roll tomorrow. I couldn't book the full day off but I've bagged the afternoon to give it some quality time.
I think I'll be buying this when I get home. Was going to be Arkham City, but that's not 'till the 18th (sure it was the 11th). Need to entertain myself somehow!
Eurogamer gave it 10 out of 10. Rock paper shotgun more or less orgasmed over it. Skyrim has your free time by the balls
Watched about 5 hours of Greg Kasavin's 12 hour Skyrim Marathon last night on Giantbomb. So damn good.

Played it for a couple of hours not seen any real bugs yet It feels very similar to oblivion looks nice though the characters look a bit naff in comparison to the environments getting about 45 to 60fps, ultra 4xAA 1080p, 2600k 4.5ghz, 5870, 8gb ram even though the fps is okay is still feels kind of choppy like oblivion and fallout always did
Anyone else noticed that the title sounds like some sexual deviant act done while jumping out of a plane?
