Black & White The Devil May Cry Series The Fable Series The GTA Series The Resident Evil Series The Final Fantasy Series
@ xTatic, I totally forgot about GTA. It's hard to get it to work because it's so old, but GTA2 works reasonably well... and it's free at Rockstar Games.
Thief Deus Ex System Shock Fallout damn, I thought I'm not that old yet, but apparently the old days where soo much better disease picks younger and younger victims
Thief! How could I have forgotten those games! Goddamn. Makes me want to dig out the disks, then go through the horror of getting them to run on a modern PC.
Gangsters: Organized Crime Fallout II Mafia I like sending spies with the plague into enemy cities and infecting everyone. Biological warfare Cheesecake!
GTA4 would probably be the winner for me. It's structured and well-directed enough that you can fall in love with its characters and plot, but sandboxed enough that you can find new ways to play and discover new secrets each time round. In fact, /reinstalls
Crysis Warhead and the HL2 Episodes, of which number Two has the better crazy car action. As for RTS, Supcom Forged Alliance; 36 hours to the SP if you take it slowly, played UEF back then, this Christmas I'll play Cybran, whether I reinstall the disc copy or rebuy it through Steam. Classics? 1999 AvP, also rebought through Steam for a nice crazy challenge whichever race you play.
Hmmm I have played MGS Series so many times i have lost count, that and FF series xD Sent from Bittech Android app
X3: Terran Conflict, although it doesn't really count. It's not replayable it just never ends. Ever. Great value for money.
Definitely HL2 + Episodes. Portal I haven't been back to since I finished it, no interest in clock racing
For me I have played a lot of Diablo 2, Risen and Deus Ex. Never played HL series more than once, imo over rated nothing spectacular doesn't really do anything wrong, but because it is quite linear never seen the need to play it again. Same with portal, a lot of fun but never really wanted to play again. Doesn't give me anything to come back and play it again.
Yep, ditto for all of the GTA games really. I love playing them, and every time I do I discover little bits that I missed. The attention for detail (if you take the time to appreciate it) is incredible (particularly in GTA IV onward). Plus it's so much fun.
I can't do much but echo some of the titles that have already been mentioned really. Diablo 2 for me will always be top. I've spent literally days on various characters and projects. Other notable (but not strictly PC) mentions: Half Life 2 and EP1+2 Half Life (can't have one and not the other) Borderlands + Expansions Portal + Portal 2 Mass Effect 2 (didn't like 1 despite finishing it) Planescape: Torment The Witcher (Haven't played 2 yet) Okami Resident Evil 4 GTA 3 (not a fan of San Andreas) Super Mario Galaxy 2 Banjo Kazooie Zelda - OoT Zelda - Windwaker God of War 3 Metal Gear Solid 1, 3 and 4. 2 didn't really do it for me To name a few
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (maybe the new one too when they get a random map generator DLC) Zelda: Ocarina of Time Mario 64 Mirrors Edge
