Screw that! I'm not stopping until post #1337 in THIS thread! :D

Love it - it looks awesome "on paper", but can't wait to see the real deal.

Looks good in theory, but does it look good in Theory? :p

I just hit 1337 myself in my worklog on an other site, celebrated it with an everypicture posted post.

Hey! I have some new designs for you to think of. This have some alternative mounting. The left piece will be on the inside of the case, while the right piece will be on the outside. The fan will suck air into the case.

    And here's all the pieces.

    Hi,

Follow your project since the bigining, I can say you've got lot of nice ideas.. Stylised CM V8, Milky water... And noW, your fan template!! Really nice and soigné/elegant work!! :thumb:

Just afraid about one thing concerning your fan template, there are lot of pieces, how will you cut those? Laser cut? Otherwise, if you'll do it manualy, i wish you good luck!! :hip:

Do you contract out for CNC?

Yeah.. I know I've said that I want everything handmade on this build. But since I moved together with my girlfriend to an apartment I just don't have any room to manufacture these kind of things by hand. [WP]Wolverine will make it.

Here's an idea I have for an SSD mount. I really stink at these softwares, but I'm sure you'll catch my drift.

It looks OK, but will the SSDs be visible up there?

When I take a look at your case as it is now, they won't be visible, but do you plan to do "something" with the parts that are obstructing the view?

Why don't you just suspend the 5 SSDs under the 5.25" rack, in some pattern of sorts? It looks like there's juuuust enough room for them.

I look forward to it too. Can't wait! :-D Actually, the only HDD I have left at this point is giving up on me. Everything crashes and I get bsod's. I don't only want the SSD's I need them. :'-)

    I won't have the 5.25" bay there when I have the SSD's. ;-)

    Thank you Bill!

Ok, but have you considered how much the 5.25" rack contributes to the stability/rigidness of the case? You might have to reinforce the case after removing the entire 5.25" rack.

I have considered it, and I'm not just removing it. I'm adding something as well. :naughty:

Yes, it certainly swings in the "Aesthetical epicness" direction. ;)
