I was always worried about getting an O-ring that fit FIRST.
That little jag in on the right side of the last pic- Did you have to re-position to cut the whole block?
The filter is to catch the PURE GOLD that this setup makes.

I guess i dont "need" it. But i´ve learned over time that even though you think your watercooling loop is clean as a whistle, there is normally some dirt inthere

Hah, if just hope i can find a o-ring that fits. If not, i will just make one myself. The sucker for this needs to be 320 mm in diamiter And you are correct. The mill wasnt big enough to take the whole piece, so i had to turn it halfway

Oh, and I finished the dragonball picture with a little help from a mate

 

On the O-ring side, I do the same. I can make them myself, but it a lot easier to start from the O-ring and then make the rest.

Besides that, http://www.carstenholm.dk/ they sell o-rings and you can order just one if you want to. I can't remember their prices if you only buy one or 2, but give them a call. They are generally cheaper than M-seals.

 

The reservoir is looking great like the rest of your project.Keep up the good work.

Yehaaa The filter along with some other stuff is in the printer as we speak! 6 hours and 30 min, and i can transfer it to the acid bath to clean off So tomorrow afternoon it should be done!
