Wow, is TDU2 the only game on steam which doesn't update through steam?

Just downloaded it, went to start it up, and its downloading a 500MB patch through its own system.

Would you say Fallout: New Vegas with all it's DLC is worth it for £12.28?

    I would! It's a brilliant game and it's easily worth £12.99 for the game and it's 5 dlc's.

I've been citing TDU2 for months, whenever anyone claims that the reason why BF3 (et al) isn't on Steam is because Valve won't let developers use their own proprietary software for providing updates.

Steam do allow this - TDU2 is a prime example.

    Oh, btw, disclaimer...

TDU2, in my opinion, is sh!t and barely worth one tenth of the 29.99 I paid for it. Avoid it like the plague. Go buy a pint of beer - you'll enjoy it more and for longer than TDU2.

...I only get the "low violence version" cause I'm in Germany. :grr:
They crack me up, they really do.
Need to set up an account from the Netherlands. bloody...grrrr

Is there a way to tell Steam I'm NOT in Germany (even though my IP comes from there?)

I didn't realise TDU2 was like this too, but I've been citing Dirt3 which came out after the changes to steams policies and updates through GFWL and not steam.

I got LA Noire today for £17, hoping with my low expectations I dont get too disappointed.

I've only played the SP, but have encountered zero bugs or other technical problems.

It is a bit of an acquired taste though.

I cancelled an order with them as they wanted a scanned copy of my passport and my signature after I had gone through a secure checkout. They were polite and courteous and responded to emails very quickly but I am not prepared to give out that much ID to any company for the saving of a few pounds. Others here have used them with out any issues.

Hell yes! The updated Escape from Butcher Bay that comes with it is worth it on its own, as far as i'm concerned Dark Athena is just a bonus on top of it :p
