All I can say is LOL - Nvidia strike back with their ridiculous prices. Out of curiosity, who is selling 560Ti for £150?
You can get this standard Asus clicky for 159, if you go via topcashback they have a code for £10 off orders over £150 as well on their site.
Part of me wants to say "launch day price-gouge" But a product needs hype and appeal for that to work Give it a few days, maybe prices will tank
Think I shall plump, with that cooler and the beta afterburner some people have been getting nice clocks out of it. Why you can't alter the voltage easily from the get go is a bit odd, especially when it has all those fans. I mean, that cooler was made for using.
http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/foru...x-560-ti-448-roundup-evga-gigabyte-msi-2.html eVGA Classified is the highest overclocked and also the cheapest ($299 vs MSI/Gigabye $320+) one to keep an eye out.
Never quite understood the wisdom in this design with the slight open back... Are they simply recycling old 400 series PCB?
Heh, heh, heh - just ordered one. £260 and then there'll be about £9 cashback as well. That'll do me.
its the old 470 board but i like that design. whats not to like? the board will flex due to weight? more holes = more air = cool (temp) = cool (awesome)
Good to know. I'll be hanging onto it for a while, I did getting a cheaper one but that cooler should give some oc'ing headroom when it starts to get long in the tooth. Trouble is it looks so nice I may have to cut a hoe in the case for a window.
I was going to by this 560 ti but held out until this card came out. Regretting it now. I just wanted a cheap card for next 2 months.
Oh I got this in the Scan thread I find this, well, odd. I thought this was supposedly a run of 10,000 units worldwide.
Yes but the first batch will be mobile versions and die shrinks, it'll be later on that the next generation architecture will come out AFAIK. Although it's all speculation at the mo.
