Windows Modern Warfare 3 cant use 360 contoller?

Hi guys, just bought this to my surprise I can't find an option for a 360 controller? please tell me that this isn't the case, surly a game that was mainly meant for Xbox platform should be compatible huh? it's a no brainer surely.........

 

You actually prefer a controller over a mouse/keyboard for a FPS?

Probably the fact that i would say 9/10 people use a keyboard mouse combo they have not implemented it?

Oh god yes! Its so much better.

Personally im used to the very basic WSAD keys, ctrl, spce and mouse. Im not used to the like of MW with extra keys for melee or grenade etc, so i find using the extras a little harder (keep hitting knife instead of Grenade in BF3 for example (F and G).

I didnt get many shooters for PC for a few years.

 

I think it's nice to have the option of 360 Controller support though

 

The PC version doesn't have any aim assists because the mouse is much easier to play with. Playing with a controller is a handcap when aim assist is available, it's crippling when it's not available.

 

yeah I cant get familiar with playing on keyboard at the minute, it just seems I need telescopic fingers to smoothly play with the WASD keys

 

You'll get absolutely owned if you're playing the pc version with a controller against everyone else with keyboard and mouse.

 

I get owned on MW2 on 360 enough, I'd have no change on PC

 

I miss not being able to lean left and right in MW3

 

Why don't you just get an xbox?

 

He wants the game to look good and have a good frame rate.

 

What has PC gaming come to? Controller over a mouse? That would never have happened in my days
