Multi Latest Steam & General Gaming Bargains: Read first post!

And my payday is 15th next month. Here in central Europe (and i guess in many other countries) salary for December is in middle of January. Some get it as soon as 8th, some as late as me . I wondered all the time how in the hell can you guys in UK get paid during the month (salary in December for work done during December), when no one knows how many hours you did in that month.

Ah, my apologies, not knowing how it works where you are. My payday is the 26th, as said before, but a week before that is the pay 'cut off' Basically, you work up to that date, which then counts for the month, anything worked after is part of the following month.

Nothing has really taken my fancy today (except witcher2, but I cannot run it so I will wait for onlive's release), my bank account can sigh with relief.

Yep good fun game. I'd recommend the SP of MW2 aswell for that price.

My downloads keep pausing from the high demand

 

Will be picking up Modern Warfare 2 today. Also might pick up the Costume Quest/Psychonauts double pack.

 

Recettear is deffo worth a punt at that price.

 

So far I'm getting Half-Life 1: Source @ £1.49 and Portal 2 @ £4.99.

Is Duke Nukem Forever worth £3.74?

 

Lego Batman is great fun, especially in multiplayer.
Playable comedy really.

Two coupons here, same 50% valve, And I've got what I want. Also 30% off codemaster, not bad, let's see what they've got.

So I have a few things I don't have a use for, wondering if anyone else would like them if I can gift them? I have 66% off MW2 and 33% off Valve coupons (both valid from 2/1 - 1/3/12) as well as Half Life 2 and Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter. Anyone want a Christmas present?

I'm going to not buy DNF despite it's being ridiculously cheap, oh how I've grown from last year I am however going to buy MW2...perhaps this is actually a backwards step...

 

Both are pretty dire, MW2 less so. Looking back I wouldn't have purchased MW2 if I had known how much worse it was than MW1 in the MP department. Did learn though and tried DNF at a friends, glad I did as it was poor even putting aside the expectations.

Hoping Dead Island comes up dirt cheap, fancy a bit of mindless zombie killing fun! lol

 

I played the demo for DNF and I'm not buying it, even at this price.

I would say MW2 is well worth a tenner, racked up over 600 hours of it and most of it was great fun.

I thought it was very poor.

 

I've just spent almost two hours on it, had I known just how frustrating lobbies would be I probably would have saved the tenner and played some more BC2. That said it's definitely fun when you find a host who doesn't leave for ages, plus I know all the maps from two player Xbox sessions...
