Well done Craig, just luv this mod - building almost everything from scratch, 'tis what it's all about.

Merry XMAS to you, and enjoy - cannot wait for the final shots :)

Ahhhh the completion of a project is sooooo nice especially when your posting updates from it :D this is all done to an awesome standard, the fabrication & the finishing & all the extra technical touches to it, & the sweet trick of making the power conectors go at an angle, all of it top notch stuff Craig :).

Looking forward to some night shots & a good bunch of day shots on this.

Awesome first venture into scratch building Craig & merry christmas mate & an awesome new year :D:rock: +rep :).

That is certainly a cracker! (bad pun intended) You've put some serious work into this and I can't wait to see the final pics of this build.

These are not the greatest, as I am struggling to make nice photos. More to come.

Looks good, but what is purpose of that octogonal thing on front?

First I thought it is part od LC,but now I dont see any purpose.

It reminds me of coffe machine. ;)

Thank you so much Alex, that means a lot to me. It was a lot more work and time than I thought going into this, but I enjoyed every bit of it. :) Have a great year.

Thanks Wayne. Glad to have contributed to the "ideas - bank" :hehe:

Thanks man, glad you like both. :)

    :) Thats enough. Thank you.

    Thank you my friend. :)

    Thank you. :)

Thanks and it is just there for style. I did not want just another box. :)

Thank you very much. I am quite proud of the desk design. Maybe I can put a few detail photos of it here. :)

I installed the os Ubuntu with no problems, but had an fstab issue which took some time to solve. Everything is now running cool, quite and fast. I will run some bench marks and get them posted. :D
