    I've recently bought:

A Macbook (mid-2009) from Fantus that unfortunately suffered courier damage to the screen :( I spent this morning changing the screen for one off ebay - most of the time was spent trying to get the damn clutch cover off. Works a treat now, although I did defecate fired oblongs when it booted first time and it took up half the screen while booting, then sort of 'whited out'. Turns out a boot into safe mode has fixed it though. Thank goodness.

Also bought an 8' x 4' piece of MDF to make a display shelf for my mrs's shop window display. And some shelf brackets for two 8' shelves (trying to get them in a Micra, in the rain, was fun).

Also, Unicorn - you can't go far wrong with a bit o' dado trunkin'!

Wow that's a lot of network equipment - is that for your server project?

Oh no, I'm doing my own workshop, office and house with Cat6 and fiber - that's for a customer who let a "less than professional" guy network their office when they moved in a few years ago. They've now restructured the office and added more desks for more staff, so their network needs overhauled as well. It needed it anyway, the patch panels are a mess... along with the rest of it :duh: And that's not my "networking OCD" talking, I mean it's a really big mess of badly punched, wrongly numbered and in some cases inoperational patches. I'll have it sorted in no time though. It's really quite simple... tear out the old, put in the new. Properly :thumb:

I know, right? It's awesome stuff! Makes life (and networking large offices) so much easier! :D

A few things, what with it being Christmas and all, also what with me vanishing for ages.

Some of these are presents, but I would have bought them anyway if other people had not been pestering me for ideas. :3

First up, Devin Townsend's Contain Us box set! :D

Sadly, I could not get my hands on a hand-numbered, signed one with the special vinyl, but hey ho. It rocks.

    Next up, a Sony-Ericsson MBW-150!

I do not own a Sony-Ericsson phone, but I do own an android, and this thing syncs up via bluetooth wonderfully, pushing notifications to my wrist. :D

Speaking of which... SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 CHEESECAKES.

I quickly ditched the pile of crud that is Touchwiz and jumped on some Cyanogenmod goodness. Hoping fervently for CM9 to roll around for my handset.

I also grabbed me some Akai RPM3 monitors for chilling and general use, as well as basic mixing. Only baby things, but nice.

Oh, and my dad bought me a Strat for Christmas. Makes me happy.

Picked up Skyrim, Terraria and Bastion in the last day of the Steam Sale. Wasn't really planning on getting anything at all this time round but seeing as they brought those games back I thought I might as well treat myself :)
