No, Ariel have been offering wing kits similar to the ones on the V8 for ages, seen a couple of cars with them. There's one on the Aerial site's Used section with them. :)

Don't think they need to. AM had to release this due to EU regulations on CO2 average across your car range, as lambo are part of the VW group they will be fine.

I'm guessing the original Zonda wasn't too bad with emissions given that it wasn't raised to monstrous proportioins until much later in its life.

IIRC the normal 4-cylinder has a silver, grey or black anodised body frame, the V8 is gold.:thumb:

OK, can someone point out what's wrong with it?

Take a knackered 'stang, recreate a GT500 with a nod to the previous film, add a few modern touches, but still preserve the original lunacy and revitalise the cool factor of what was, at the time, a languishing brand.

The only things that bug me on that mustang are the vents behind the windows and the needless way they've chopped out a section of the front bumper to stick lights in :duh: Seriously wtf is that supposed to achieve except ruining the lines. Other than those two points though it's ****ing stunning.

The Zonda F was my dream car until I saw the Top Gear special in which they took sports cars around Paris and it transpired that the Zonda F can't make it over a speed bump without scratching the bodywork :wallbash:

Nothing. That however, is not a proper Mustang. A GT500 looks nothing like the plastic monstrosity posted above.

That damned film has a lot to answer for.. namely a whole generation of kids who don't know what a proper Mustang should look like.

Even the FILM is a remake... the original 1974 film is way better.

Arrrgh! They didn't.. only that abortion created for the movie has that.

    THIS>>>>

Wow i didn't expect that pic to cause so much hate lol. I just thought it was rare to see one done like that from the movie. But after looking the photos over its not one from the move but one someone did up. No exhaust under the doors and no gas cap on driver side.

I prefer the original '67 and '68 over the movie remake just thought it was kind of rare to see one. :thumb:

This isn't accurate. The Euro regulations are mandatory only for manufacturers making more than 10,000 vehicles annually; Aston-Martin produced around 13,000 cars between 1955 and 2007 and is currently selling around 4,000 cars annually (down from a high of 7,400 in 2007). That means they can negotiate their own agreement with the European authorities. They haven't had the Cygnet forced upon them, it's just part of their strategy.

Pagani makes around 40 cars annually and probably isn't worth the EU's time. Anyway, back on topic, 1960 Facel Vega HK500.

I didn't see it on the road; I saw it in the one-car garage of a 20-year-old student who is restoring it single-handedly.

    Wow.
