Got the exact same x121e and I love it, feels very solid I will say, its a beautiful machine.

 

Very nice, typing from mine now.

Got 15% off in November. Just got 4Gb of RAM though. Very cheap computer for the size and quite nippy.

 

Galaxy Nexus, finally hopped on the smartphone bandwagon.

 

I got the thinkpad edge E320 for christmas there. core i3, HD6630 2gb ram for only £480. Didn't fancy paying £60 extra to upgrade to 4GB so Gonna do that myself later. ATM using it for studying so 2GB ram is perfectly fine tho did through up skyrim. Only crashed once from memory running out lol. Only thing I don't like is the touchpad, it isn't sensitive enough and scrolling along the edge can spaz out.

 

Man I wish work would give me a new ThinkPad, I'm still on a T400... -_-

I just need to get Genelec 8020b:s now and my audio setup is (almost) ready \o///// (Just missing subwoofer and turntable to play hipster-vinyl-records)

Ok this should really be in what's making my life awesome, buuuuut, after that mad spend on the last page, I thought I had blown all my wages, big time, infact I thought I was in overdraft territory.

Long story short, found £100 in the bank I did not know I had and its close to payday again, and I get taxes returned this week, all £400+.

I'm sure it'll be bulky, the 4G will eat the battery alive (if I can even get a connection from home) and the touchscreen will drive me insane as a frequent glove wearer but dat 1280x720 screen. Worth it. Probably.

 

The screen is definitely worth it, although I think clean ICS is best thing about it. Had mine for a couple of months now, you'll love it

Replacement for my crappy powerpac one that I manage to misplace 2 years back and discover ruined recently with leaky batteries.



For the wife. She saw the st20 when it arrived and said "That looks nice, I want a flashlight too". She like gadgets too. With the recent spate of train breakdowns and passengers getting trapped in the dark, i figured why not. Fortunately that was on sale at a local online shop.

Darn things are bright... 2 Lumens ceiling bounced will easily light up a kids room to lego spotting brightness. And i was still worried that 13 lumen low might be too low...

 

Some Lebkuchen - nice and cheap now that the Xmas season is over.
Some Biltong, some apples, some sammiches, some juice. Food for the office... I eat waaay too little during the day.

 

After about a month of waiting, this bad boy has finally arrived:



I'm already impressed so far, though it hasn't blown me away yet. The bass is tighter and more controlled and the mids and treble are smoother than my integrated amp I was using before this, but it's only had about half an hour burn in so far so will give it another couple of weeks (and maybe some new cans) before I evaluate it properly.

Edit: OK, a few more hours of burn-in now....this thing is AWESOME
