sweet HS record, I just started playing FPS'ers, lovin BF3 still a noob but, the trajectory is realistic I think, wonder if it accounts for the coriolis effect?

 

With the mav how do you spot?

or is it just a case of finding people and letting people shoot them that counts?

 

Mash Q like a mad man so people can see them : P

 

With MAV you spot in same way as with anything else - with the Q key.

 

Speaking of exploits I noticed this yesterday. If you place a spawn beacon near a building then respawn on it later you end up parachuting in instead of on the beacon. Is this a glitch or is this supposed to happen?

So many people using this exploit to get onto the hard to reach spots especially on team death match games where the map is small.

Yep, it's not a bug. Spawn beacons placed inside a building don't allow you to parachute in, however if placed outside a building in the open they will spawn you a couple hundred feet up in the air.

 

If you place a spawn beacon out i the open you parachute down always worked that way. If you place it inside a building or anything with a roof on it you spawn on the beacon. Though as a sniper you would destroy your own beacon everytime.

But if you spawn on some eles as a sniper it doesnt go xD

And yes mash q like hell or place it on top of a building, and it will spot without you controlling it.

 

I think past about 300 you just have to be lucky with the headshot... and more lucky to get it first time . . . with fraps . . . but still.

Thats a pretty awesome video, wish i was as good a player as you. Only gotten to where I am by playing with good players which have brought my gameplay level up.

Good games late tonight with desiAU, Dom and angryman on Metro, got quite a few people to rage at being MAV roadkilled, which was jokes. Think I'm getting way better at sniping with the M98b on more linear maps like Metro, Bazaar and Seine. On the more open ones I tend to go engineer or assault in any case.

 

The Team Death Match video has rendered better in MP4 format. Will upload it tomorrow and the knife fight on Sienne Crossing xD
