Sorry I am catching this so late! Absolutely stunning work on the I/O ports. Easily the best I have ever seen. Looking forward to seeing this masterpiece finished!
I wish I could buy something that looked this good. I would love to have something like that on my desk and use it for my day to day work.
Usually I don't, since I do all my things manually and regarding the time it takes, most things wouldn't be profitable. But this is a pretty small task so send me a PM with what you need and I will see what I can do. I might be able to help you one way or the other Thanks mate, trying my best to keep up with all you other guys here. Thanks shomann. Im glad you noticed the I/O ports since it was the most timeconsuming and frustrating part of the whole project. Thanks, very nice comment of you. Easy day to day work and HTPC without the sound of a jetengine is what It's intended for. But unfortunately, I don't have any for sale at the moment
Just read through the whole log, the attention to detail and quality of the work is just sublime, How I wish I had skill and patience like you. Awesome mod!
Thanks a lot fortaknign time and reading it all and your feedback... but trust me, you don't want my patience, it can be a real burden sometimes. Thank you, nice to hear you like the details Hehe thanks
"Day 16 (from last picture): Checked the GET A LIFE thread again for some awesome pictures from The_Gnu, nothing yet. Cried a little. Ate a sandwich. Went to bed. Will check again tomorrow..." </diary-extract>
haha nice diary extract, rep for that. Don't worry though, i just took a weeks vacation in the alps for some boarding in the powder. Im on my way home right now. I was about to update before the trip but ran out of time hehe lol, you can never have to many lives You bet I will mate. Just took some time off
Lol, your way to slow. She was with me long before the beginning of this project and belive it or not, but she's still with me Been there done that Anyway, here are some of the work done lately. Powercables is a must and of course I had to do some custom connectors. I also made a small holder for the wifi antenna. Im pretty shure this won't work to good since I put the antenna in a alucasing and it will act like a sheeld. But It's just a test and hopefully I got enough openings and cracks to atleast let some signals inside, but well see. i got a bacup incase it wont work.
Awesome - maybe you could run a wire on the outside of the case that acts like a WIFI antenna? Someplace hidden, of course..
