2 of my nephews came to pass the night.

I sincerely thought about sleeping in the mini-house in the backyard.

I had to have my dog put down today. I had him over half my life so it wasn't easy

Everything has come back as "normal" on her side....

I have my "tests" on 6th February. Given my medical history no doubt I am the problem

 

I had to put my friend down 6 years ago, I still leave his squeaky toy in my bedroom.

 

Stupid determination for disability taking forever. It's dragging on four months now.

 

My good friend died yesterday. He was diagnosed with liver cancer after a 2 week fit of the hiccups, He died a week later. To see a once proud and full of life man deteriorate so quickly was a humbling experience. I will miss him.

 

My thoughts go out to you and his family, I know what it's like to loose someone you love to cancer.

 

Being told yesterday that i'll have open heart surgery soon to replace a dodgy aortic valve and a section of distended aorta..........had infective endocarditis 4.5 years ago and dodged the bullet then but seems cumulative effects of those 4.5 years of leaky valves and extra blood pressure have caught up with me. Now sat in a cardiology ward at Yeovil District hospital (free wi-fi - if only the rest was as modern...) trying desperately to ignore the decrepitude around me and hoping some blood test results go my way later today so they can rule out 2nd bout of endocarditis and put raging fevers down to viral rather than bacterial infection and they'll let me go home to await my fate

Still - i'll be bionic and fitter than ever post op and all the money i'm not spending on travelling too/from work and associated savings on impulse purchases will mean a major case/cooling/storage overhaul and some serious time to get all ocd on the wiring during the 3 month convalescense

Getting sick of constant nightshift at work.

I've spent the last 30 mins trying to scan a QR code on a tub of butter but I can't get my phone's camera to focus on it. I'm genuinely upset about it.

 

This is just getting ridiculous now.

Just sized up the watercooling hose i have that i can use and i'm about 75cm short. Bugger.

Anyone willing to donate some clear 3/8 ID tubing?

Was supposed to get the bus upto Inverness today from Glasgow, i knew i was changing at Perth so i waited for the Perth bus only to be told by the driver that i needed to get the Aberdeen bus (which had already left) then change to Inverness. Nowhere on my ticket does it say i need to get an Aberdeen bus!

So know i'm feeling annoyed and a bit stupid
