How is this even possible? 2215 vs. 2878? Same cards, same clocks.. only difference is the PCs.

Something's not right here. What drivers you on?

I'm on the 295.51 beta drivers. I was previously on the 285 drivers, but didn't notice any change in performance when I switched.

Hmm... I can't think what could be causing this then. The difference is just outrageous. Same cards, same clocks......

    Arrrgh! I'll try 295.51

I thought the new beta drivers were having issues on X79?

    Not here... work fine.

Still not much difference though.. slightly higher overall score, but not by much.

WHY is dead beat's so much higher???

Pookey have you tried letting heaven run until you get to the floating ship before you hit the benchmark button?

I just did that... a little better.

Still miles off dead beat's though.

Its the bit in the tunnel... GPU usage drops to precisely the square root of jack ****! I bet that's not happening on dead beat's! Still doesn't explain his max FPS though.

@dead beat: Run D3 Mark 11 with basic settings. I don't trust Heaven.

Huh? Skillz? same cards, at the same clock speeds. What has skill got to do with it? Grrr... this is damned annoying. There's nothing set wrong.. everything's fine.. apparently.

Ah yess well 1075Mhz isn't a daily thing ;) we could go with my cards stock clocks if you prefer? 856Mhz on the core and 2106Mhz on the memory, would still be interested to see how far you can push it, fancy a 1Ghz run? ;D

I was just joking. I can't account for it either.

I'll give 3DMark a go later on, but i think your cpu is going to help you more in 11.

I know... but it gives you a breakdown in the results, so I can discount the CPU Physics numbers.

I know you were joking... I'm just a bit annoyed.

Fuzzy, MjFrosty and BennyboyUK also get exactly the same numbers as me as well. It's just you that get's these scores.

Post up a 3DMark11 run in the meantime with a screenshot breaking down the results.

That looks more like it. Heaven is clearly less than reliable. It would be great if you could run a 3D Mark 11 basic bench at 865 with 2103 mem. Just to set my mind at rest.

I don't think vantage is DX11... not that it matters, but if you're gonna run a synthetic bench.. run one that uses tessellation and other DX11 shiny things I say
