I think TSB is aiming for dyspraxic. Dyspraxia can affect planning of movements and co-ordination as a result of brain messages not being accurately transmitted to the body.

Enermax are good as are Corsair/Seasonic. I'd probably go for 1000W, as it'll give you loads of headrooms for future upgrades or extra GTX590s :D

Dyspraxia is a condition often confused with dyscalculia - i.e. difficulty with numbers. I think TSB was referring to the fact that the seller is asking for a £220, a price more appropriate to a 560 than a 590.

The two conditions often exist side by side, along with dyslexia.

    Factoids, gotta love 'em! :geek:

I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole.

The guy said it comes with an SLI bridge... no graphics card comes with an SLI bridge.

This sound just too far fetched. Account made 2 days ago, price too good to be true I mean £220 for a gtx 590!! I have seen all this before stay well clear unless you have money to throw away, if you do Ill take the money.

You get SLI bridges bundled with SLI-capable motherboards, not with graphics cards. ATI do it differently. ;)

He uses "pal" in every sentence. Sounds like a chav to me. It's either stolen or you won't get it.

I'd even be cautious about buying it via ebay/paypal in case he has a good cover story if you get something that's not working or something....

There is no way a genuine seller would sell a 590 at that price. No ebay history says it all.

"However he has not been rated seemingly so can't tell if dodgy or not"

    :)

I had one or two calling me "pal" on ebay. I think in both cases the auction turned out to be a scam.

One was a high end PC soundcard that many people were bidding on. It was one of those multiple auctions and the final price was much lower than shop price but still over £100.

Many people paid, I didn't pay because I was suspicious. Turns out no one received anything from the crim.

Unless the guy is a complete moron, there's not a chance in hell it would be legit.
Nobody sells a current gen graphics card worth near £600 for just over £200, especially when your later messages makes it sounds like he was talking about a new sealed box. :\

You definitely did the right thing in pulling away from the trade. :thumb:

    Edit:
    Forgot the obligatory 'pal'. :D
