I wanted something with lots of space, so everything isn't crammed in. And this way I never have to worry about 'if it'll fit' as everything will fit For the price its an amazing case, doubly so when they release the mounts to fit rads in the 5.25" bays... Ahah! I'll be reading that later

Had a question and thought of Bloody_Pete's thread! Helped me when planning my first loop and wonder if you can help again. My loop is running well, all things cool and dry but my Res is full of condensation. Is this normal? Appreciate any input.
Cheers for the reply. The GPU's feed directly into the Res so the water is probably at it's warmest at that point. May think about putting the Rad ahead of the Res in the loop as the condensation doesn't look at all pretty like. Component temps are good so I dont think I'm going to worry, but thanks for putting my mind at ease!
To be honest, that probably wont make much difference, as that water temp in/out of a rad is only a couple of degrees difference is any kind of high flow system...
question to the WC gurus here. Has anyone tried WC a CPU and GPU in Parallel configuration, instead of the typical inlet>outlet>inlet>outlet arangement. will both components get sufficient cooling fluid to keep them cool. (potentionally using an EK supreme HF and a EK GTX470 fullcover)
The issue to the is whatever block has the least resistance will get the most flow and cooling, so I'd only think of doing this with high flow blocks...
Pete, TY for a great guide. + Rep Its wet my appetite to begin water cooling. I was hoping to do a small 240 radiator setup in my R2. Wanting to cut out the drive bays first and see if that makes much difference to my air temps. Currently getting ok temps but far to much noise. Running a noctua NH-U12P and 3 golfball fans + a gigabyte 460 makes for a noisy machine. Going to just cool the CPU at the moment as the 460 isn't a reference design and would rather wait to cool the GPU when I upgrade. Although adding a generic GPU block would mean I wouldn't have to buy one in the future. I know the R2 probably isn't the best case to do it in, but adding another £150+ for a new case would end up in me having to wait even longer to get started. more reason to get the dremel out
Hi pete, watched your video awesome for beginners like myself, just want some advice. I am unsure about which tubing size to go with, what would the most common size be, I dont want it too small but not 1/2 either. As its to my understanding that the tubing will dictate the radiator, pump and fittings, so need right option lol
To be honest, this has been debated alot, tubing doesn't make that much difference (usless its very very thin). I've seen flow & pressure tests that show no real difference. The only thing to watch out for is that the wall is not too thin as this will make the tubing collapse more easily in turns And what video? I don't remember making one
Yes i think i'll go with 3/8 tubing. For the connections on a radiator, what size do I require if I am using 3/8 tubing? and can I use compression fittings to connect into the radiator? thanks again man
