Windows BF3 Rematch - Bit-tech vs Aria cross community fight!

Kinda agree on Karkand being one sided, but then again it just takes someone on the attacking side to hammer through in a jeep and catch the top base, then things start leveling out.

 

Will be on Aria's temporary server. they rented out one especially for this rematch!

only 32 players, so remember guys, first come first serve. match starts 8pm latest, so get there before 7:45pm improves your chances of representing for CPC/Bit-tech

As it is 16v16 (or smaller: someone said 12v12?) I personally find that the conquest large maps are too big for this number of players. Spend most of the time just running around each other capping points. Also it feels as though you are at a large disadvantage if you are not in a vehicle in conquest large with this few players you as the vehicle to player ratio must be close to 1:1 if you consider each tank has 2(3) seats etc.

Therefore my map choice would be:

Conquest:
Kharg Island (small) - removing the B point from the large version keeps the action more focused with this number of players in my opinion.
Seine Crossing (small) - don't know why but I prefer this map over the larger one that tends to be about holding the bridge flag.
Grand Bazaar (large or small) - the large version of this is still pretty compact.

Rush
Operation Metro
Strike at Karkland (if we are playing B2K)
Seine Crossing (if we are not playing B2K) - love the final MCOM in the bank or w/e that building is.

 

make it 20 vs 20... been playing that recently and it's awesome having an extra squad for the CQLarge maps... (would also let more people play in the rematch!)

 

I assume its 16 vs 16 because the max slots on the Aria server is 32?

 

Yeah I believe so. Inb4 they complain of lag on their own server when they lose like last time.

can't really ask them to increase server size, as that would cost more money. they've already rented the server without asking us for a penny.
