Films Guess The Film

Ok, here's a terrible but classic film for you to guess.



Hopefully that scene isn't too vague.

Clue: It's a film from the 1980's and is based on a true story.

 

First time i looked at the image it looked like the man had a red afro.

 

That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said about me, thank you!

 

It would have made the film more bearable to watch.

Also a further clue:
The main character is a police officer (as if you didn't guess from all the men in uniforms in the first picture), named Hero.

There's also something about an insect in the film's name.
That last statement might be too big of a clue, depends on how many people watch bad Japanese movies... or how good you are are Googling stuff.

 

I googled and found the name... it got 7.7 stars out of 10. Is it as bad as you say?

 

It's probably not as bad as I felt... I think it's mostly down to me watching too many faster paced action films and over the top psychological thrillers lately.

The slow pace of that film and it's lack of much happening for a good few areas of it kind of made me switch off my mind a bit. The story behind it is good, the way they went about telling it didn't quite live up to the plot though.

 

goigle turns up some pretty wild stuff when you search for these sort of terms. Amusing to see one film was called "harmful insect"

- That's as close to saying the title as I can probably go without actually saying the exact words. Although DXR_13KE's found the film on IMDB so he could say it.

Horrible if taken seriously, but as a piece of black comedy not a bad effort, far worse is said at most comedy clubs on a nightly basis around the country.

Is making rape jokes an act worthy of boosting someone's reputation in your eyes? What if it was a joke saying someone real should be raping a real person and not just as a scenario in a fantasy movie?
