Same devs and same engine as FC2, i don't see why anyone would have high expectations for this. Anyways, i only came here to show this:
The character and voice acting are fantastic. I am only recently getting around to Far Cry 2 and I see that also was impressive in terms of character realism.
Did I ever tell you the definition of instanity? It's doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.
Surprisingly good trailer. However, I have a feeling it will be much more linear than previous titles. The open world experience of 1 was amazing; 2 was so bad for so many reasons (AI and combat being primary concerns for me). I just hope they make it fairly non-linear and keep the combat exciting and obviously sort out the horrendous AI from 2.
Oh dear. Just watched the trailer at the top. Visually stunning but I really don't like when they pre-render. I expect the game graphics to be that good but the in-game I saw last year didn't even look as good as BF3. It was perhaps console quality.
There is a Gameplay video to Farcry isn't there?....It was shown at the E3 wasn't it? Or am I just being silly?..
Yes, and it looks nothing like this pre-rendered. Graphically it is console quality I would say, however, the character acting is worth watching it for.
from the fact that it comes up to press 'A' several times during the footage, it's a safe bet it's 360 footage. personally i hate the characters. the guy you play is a complete *** that would be more appropriate for an animated series of jersey shore. it'll be MGS2 all over again. f'kin raiden.......
Aren't you all bored of 'yet-another-run-and-gun' games yet? Looks pretty but I'm so tired of this type of game.
