MAV is fantastic as Draca has pointed out. Although I personally have a love for using the AS VAL and oddly the Type 88 lately.

Also 6+ C4 kill in metro = most fun ever.

Also pistols only match = knfing heaven.

 

Who the frick is CommanderRoot and why is he giving 'hooahs' on my battlefeed?

Edit: Or is he someone off here? Not that I mind, I just like to put an imaginary face to an imaginary name.

 

i got Hooah'd by that guy, he seems to be going around Battlelog Hooah'ing everyone. most people on Aria platoon got this, looks like he's found the CPC platoon.

 

He's a German guy who is going around the Battlelog Hooah'ing everyone, some personal mission I think..

 

He's Hooahing you in the hope that you do the following:

1. visit his battlelog page to see who it is,
2. you notice he is advertsing a twitter a/c and a website
3. you visit both of these sites and end up regretting it.

Anyhoo, an odd thing yesterday and today - crash with directx GetDeviceRemovedReason fail.

That's with the previous and now new nvidia drivers. Oddly I think both times it happened on the same server, not on any others. Otherwise my 570 is running fine, max of 50 degrees and no other issues.

Odd.

 

I get this alot, and have not fixed it yet.

On the MAV, does it have to have line of sight to spot?

 

It's odd, only happened yesterday and today.

Anyhoo, MAV, not sure - I think so as when I was hovering over a guy yesteday I couldn't spot him but I could another guy who was just out of the proximity blippy blip thingy.

I have the odd weird thing with them too, sometimes they'll just float off into the air and not come down - bloody things.

I think my reign of PKP Pecheng abuse will come to an end this evening. Over five thousand kills with it so far. I think it's time I switched weapon and worked on some other unlocks and Service Stars.

I don't know whcih class I will play next. Depends on what we are doing as a group. Tanks need Engineers so will do that with a new weapon. If not and Infantry then maybe an LMG or Assualt Rifle.

One that will interest Draca particularly:

Magnum benefits from the new 1.25x damage modifier for hitting the chest snipers get.

 

More DMG for the AS VAL?

And I liked the old stuff. Now I'm still going to use the Suppressor given that there's no more damage dropoff.

 

The attachments info is pretty interesting as well.. I like this; ''There seems to be extended magazine for AS VAL which didn't exist before. With ext mag it will have 30 bullets in a mag instead of 20.''

Aside from that, Frag rounds in shotguns seem to be nerfed across the board which is all good imo. Increases in damage for most weapon classes are small enough not to make a massive difference.
