This gets a 6/10 in my book: You still have a very good and capable CPU and board combo. The graphics card is still capable too, and the overclock is nice. But it's a hot running card. So you also lose marks for having it in that case. The amount of memory now is also limiting. You pull back with the great PSU (but a bit off for not being modular) and the awesome IPS panel. *To the person that rates my rig, my case is the build log "Refraction".
4.5/10 CPU and GPU are knocking on now, you're running memory in single channel mode. But you have a good cooling setup, two nice monitors and a good PSU Oh my 470, with that overclock, tops out at 70C 'cause I has modded it The PSU not being modular is a bit of an issue to be honest, hiding all the spare stuff is difficult in my small case. And I thought 8GB was enough lol must buy more memory
Seeing as I feel noizdaemon666 rating was unfair, 7/10 - Good board - Still an awesome CPU and a 6 core, (capable of keeping up with i7 950's etc) and a good overclock - Plenty of Ram, but Only running in single channel, knocks points off. - Gtx 460 is a good card, but only the 768Mb version. - Good soundcard - Reasonable cooler - Sweet PSU and sound system and a good pair of monitors
Trashcanman. 9/10 Just to see if you'll flash some more cash when new NVIDIA comes out... Plus only 2 cards in sli? /joke.
Oh ok, 6/10. I may have been very harsh, sorry lol Becoming highly competitive, this thread becoming I see /yoda And Ficky Pucker, 9/10. Great CPU and graphics card. Decent amount of memory. 2 SSDs, brilliant power supply. Unknown speed on memory though, and not overly keen on the case.
0/10 as I see no Rig, nor a Sig... I agree, seeing as I have owned both the Asus Xonar D2X and Creative Titanium Pro. Hands down the Creative wins. I think you find the driver issues was with Vista using the 64 bit OS, when it first came out.
I'm going to give that 8/10- conservative overclock and no SSD let it down, discrete sound is a plus though as is the Saitek kit
Rating the i7 2600 rig above - 8/10. That overclock is damned fine, although I would probably back it off a little The 560 is a great card @ 1080p and below, especially with a nice overclock. Can't see much else, but I'm sure you're having a good time with it!
