What do you clean yours with?

 

Err, my hand? I just kinda try to wipe off dust etc, haven't had it that long, so it's not too bad.
Not sure what I'd use if it needed a proper clean though I'm afraid.

 

I got mine about a week before the I-series.

Poor thing didn't stand a chance...

Automotive seat cleaner. Works a treat. I've got a big OCZ mat and it was twice it's original weight with coffee residue.

Either that or you just chuck it in the bath after you've had a soak and leave it overnight. It's just bog standard neoprene with a fancy pattern on

I've heard you can chuck it in the washing machine on a low temperature. Haven't tried yet though.

Brother laser printer far left. Fuji camera. Pc under desk is AMD based, main internet pc in Antec 900 case. LH keyboard is A4 Tech left handed model. Both monitors connected, one via a switch, to the internet pc, RH monitor also serves the gaming pc. RH keyboard is M$ X6, plus WolfClaw connected to gaming pc on right, Intel based in an Antec 300. Headphones on 300 are Sennheiser PC350. Shelving underneath: USB docking station, and sub woofer for internet pc. Both pc's were using MX1000 mice, but now using a Qpad 5K for gaming pc.

 

Where did you get the desk from, I need something huge like that

Yep. 2560cm. Legs from B&Q. £10 a pop, not cheap! I have a second one behind on the opposite wall where I do pc repairs.

 

same as me, when we had a new kitchen, the old top ended up in my little room, the fit was perfect, albeit the wall needed a quick touchup when we had to sit on it to get it to fit!

Got me a counter top in storage for when I buy a house, best idea IMO

 

Is that a hired or borrowed unit? Would you mind telling me the exact specs and dimensions? Specifically the depth and height of the rack (height in metric or rack units) and specs/model of the machine is running in it. I've been planning the build of something similar for a couple of months, although mine would be 16u split in two (two 8u cases) and have much more hardware in it, for audio and video mixing and processing. Thanks in advance. Looks like a very nice machine to work on for the day Are you doing something very CPU intensive?

Its a custom built machine we sell for a manufacturer in Germany.

Basically we do optical measurement and these computers are able to take the images provided by the sensor head (not pictured) and put them together into a 3d model (accurate down to 6 microns). The process is extremely intensive hence the massive spec of the machine, the sensor head itself needs 2 full gigabit ethernet cables to communicate with the pc.

The only problem with the setup is that it rocks. The wheels are made from quite soft rubber and a close together so it kind of sways as you use it.

EDIT: Dimensions Internal are 51cm High by 52cm Wide and 60cm deep. The box on top of the main box is the monitor box which holds the 22" screen.
