    There will be a new PC build happening in two weeks time (15th - 18th), and I need a name. The build will be featuring a new case (black and white), and lots more speed! :D What I want from you guys is to come up for a name for it, and the winner will see their name being associated with the PC for the rest of it's life. If you fancy naming my PC, then feel free to PM me your name suggestions (sensible only!). The build will be well documented over the four days. It's not often you'll get an opportunity like this...

    I think starting a thread to get name suggestions for a PC ( with nothing to go on for a theme other than 'black & white' ) and then saying 'suggestions via PM only' makes the thread a waste of time; it makes more sense to put the names in the thread as replies, or to save wasting bandwidth they could have gone in the build log once it's underway.

    But hey, that would be the logical thing to do, so never mind. My suggestion is 'Michael Jackson'...

    The moment you bought it, it's already obsolete technology wise... so might as well give up, and call it a name that won't be miss leading 5-6 years down the line.

    I've never understood the name-stuff. Mine are always just "Jipa's" or "Jipa's new" for the main rig and "HTPC" for the HTPC.
