I gave up on killing jets or helis with anything else but AA vehicle. That one is awesome tho, with rockets . Lock it, wait until he throws the flares, lock in again, fire both rockets, watch him die . In a minute or so repeat again, meanwhile use the main gun.

 

you're better off soflam/javalin **** out the skies until they buff stingers.

 

Whenever I soflam no one has javelin. When I have javelin no one has soflam.

But when I fly the opforce always has both. :[

 

If you joined in on my games, and were in a tank with me, I could hop into the CITV whenever you needed a portable soflam I'd like to increase my laser designator assists anyway.

 

Join the Mumble server if you get the chance - we're always working as a team when we're playing on various servers.

 

Yeah the jav/sof is powerfull, if you see a sof lock on a cobra/havok go for it 90% chance of a kill but jets are harder, when i have piloted and i know its a jav after me i fly in a straight line with after burn and you can out run a jav missile and flair when you can for good messure

@Greg Yeah, I hate people who do it myself. I wasn't camping
though. I was literally trying to kill one guy. With an SV98 12x Scope.
I would normally move after getting a kill, obviously. But just couldn't
hit so was gettingpissed! haha.

 

You have to mix it up with recon.

I like to move around alot, get the spawn beacon planted, hunker down if a flag is getting attacked and pick them off or run about the map trying to give my team cover whichever group of them is getting overrun.

The only other time I spend a while in one spot is while sending the MAV up to help out flag attacks/defends.

I've been giving Caspian a bit less of a run recently, just about every map had several snipers just sat on the antenna - it was getting a pain. It's not so bad on other maps as you can pick campers off quite easily but for the antenna you really have to get to the other edge of the map high up before you can get an angle on them.

Pointless really.

As for JAVs, pretty much the same experience - if I soflam then very few javs are about or they don't get refills from support, if I have them soflam is pretty infrequent.

Not as infrequent as being revived though, that's more of a surprise when it happens nowadays than the shock itself.

Great game with Digi and Achilles. Just knifing each other into oblivion. And of course, Digi's raging at me because of my lucky knifing.

Also, I've reignited my love for C4. I have quite a few kills with it now.

 

Elton glad you are back to enjoying C4 again! Its such fun slapping it on that unsuspecting tank!!

 

Am I right in thinking the Air Radar is pointless? I worked under the assumption that you were in the centre and a plane ahead of you was, well, ahead of you.

I challenged that thought after numerous times the plane appeared on the radar in front of me and I was getting shot down from behind.

 

I was playing with Dom and Bolt, don't know if anyone else was there...But playing on Caspian Border, and I kept screaming at our Recons to get a Soflam up...They couldn't get any vehicle support anywhere...Which proves a point, a good Soflam/Jav Team can win a game..

 

Jake was that the time we came up the hill after snipers and AA/tanks? Lol

Air radar works great for me. The jets and helis are always where I assume they are from looking at the radar. Could be a lag issue?
