    2 months?

Even if I game non stop I'd still only be about half way through my backlog...

I was a massive fan of the original Diablo and part of me is really looking forward to playing this. The other part of me wonders whether I might be deeply disappointed when (if) it fails to live up to my memories.

Looking at the screenshots it feels like, apart from the graphics and a few tweaks, it hasn't really moved on. We're living in a world of Skyrim and Borderlands and many, many copies of the original Diablo. And having played a number of those copies I must admit I eventually got so bored I just stopped buying them.

I hold out hope that they are able to re-create the magic of Diablo and all my concerns will be forgotten.

I do think Blizzard need to move on though. Re-creating old franchises with a few tweaks is hardly innovative...and those who fail to innovate, eventually die. Or start doing something desperate like putting pandas or pokemon in their games. D'oh!

I've never played the Diablo's before but have this pre ordered. I'd be well up for joining a few of you guys if you don't mind. I come armed with a ten man mumble server.

I'll happily join up for some group action. Diablo really is a game made or broken by the people you play with unless you play solo.

Max Payne 3 on the same date, if they're smart they'll push it up to the weekend before the 15th, rockstar that is.

Oh well, 2 weeks booked off.

Just over £30 on Amazon. I'm not so desperate to play it the second it's released that I'd actually pay £45 for the direct download.
