No, not on its own, but the best rigs are well balanced, and your GPU is holding everything else back -especially at 1440p!
nah tbh i reckon id be fine with just the one. in the meantime, my 4870 can max a lot of games even on my res tbh with acceptable rates, fair enough they are easily maxable games. but it all depends on what you play. i like games such as dirt 3, sc conviction etc. the only really taxing games i play are crysis 2 and bf3, and fsx with a load of add ons with bf3, i have it windowed. so i can play to high detail and still get good fps. i have adapted to it, and i actually play worse on fullscreen now (true story) but a 680 will net me about 40fps on ultra @ my res. thats fine with me
My bad, just updated the audio card + OC, have an ASUS Xonar Essence STX 9.9/10 for yours - nice specs!
@kidmod 6.8/10. Good mobo! CPU pretty good for multi-threading, but not the best on less threaded apps. GPU showing it's age a bit now, but still perfectly fine for your monitor res. Good quantity of quality DDR3. Superb sound card, but driving some distinctly average speakers. Reasonably good air cooling. Good PSU. No SSD lets the side down. Lack of screen res and real estate is less than ideal.
8/10 Slightly dated GPU and case, thought they're still good. Knocked half a point off for (I think) naming your monitor wrong in your sig lol
