It was about time in order to reduce further misunderstandings. I don't know, people here are just so dumb! Report anything! Wait a minute... I'm joking. No I am actually joking! Bit tech is quite a fun place once you get to know people.
surely the step up program is just like many car buying step up programs. You are guaranteed a trade in value in a given time frame. You don’t expect a FREE upgrade when you buy a new car, you can expect the guaranteed trade in value you agreed when buying it originally. Perhaps this ought to be applied to this EVGA trade up program to avoid confusion ? Companies cannot just be expected to upgrade items for free though that is unreasonable.
All has been sorted now. They forgot to add the Tax back on to the price of my Step up. Thank you EVGA.
I knew it would all be good and that u should have trusted them in the first place... You are so mistrusting!
Yes, but that's what I agreed to with the Step up. But what you are forgetting is I'm getting a GTX 680 for my GTX 580 which is over 2 months old.
So hang on true_gamer - is that the step up for each 580 classified (the turbo nutter version) to a standard 680? So you're basically doing this twice? Because if so, how the hell are EVGA making any money?
Hi Baz, Yes, the pic is 1 order of 2. So I am stepping up both my GTX Classy's for standard GTX 680's for the price of postage. God knows how EVGA are making money. But I imagine my cards will either become B stock or RMA replacements. Cheers, Simon.
I'm sure your electricity company will love you! They can turn off a few power stations once you've upgraded
Well...I suppose I would get commission from the national grid, by allowing them to cut a few Power Station...
QUOIS??? Yes... I don't understand how this works. Is it with any evga gfx card or just the top of the line. Bare in mind I'm not going to do the work myself on this one.
step up i've used the step up program, it works well. i've also upgraded from 2 evga gtx 580's to 1 evga gtx 680 and i'm extremely happy with that decision also. EVGA graphics cards have a lifetime wt. never had a problem with any and i've used 4 different models heavily. enjoy
