big thanks for thetips, i had not realized they would grant you additional space for tasks other than referrals, I'm grabbing my camera, a 4 gig memory card, and abusing the daylights out of that photo upload bonus.

    Personally, I use Ubuntu One.

Perhaps you guys could do a review of it?

I can't believe the author Antony didn't dive into comparisons of Dropbox with competitor products. SpiderOak is far superior to Dropbox in everyway, with the one exception of Dropbox's out-of-the-box simplicity. For anyone serious about cloud backups, file syncing and security, I insist that they move onto bigger and better applications such as Spideroak, especially considering they're just as free!!!

Seriously, though, let's do a review of Ubuntu One, and all the other sites that were mentioned.

+1 for Ubuntu One. 5GB of free space (in price, and effort) is hard to beat! And with direct integration in Ubuntu!

Sligh bugbear of mine but the title is incorrect, it should read

"Triple your Dropbox capacity free" or "Triple your Dropbox capacity for nothing"

    Not

"Triple your Dropbox capacity for free"

For Free is Grammatically incorrect. Sorry ill go and hide under my rock again now

Google Drive launches next week with 5GB of free storage. Can't see dropbox lasting long.

Dropbox will most likely increase theirs or something, because you're probably right in that very few people will choose dropbox over google.

I doubt it, Google is too late to the game.

Dropbox is the clear leader at the moment and it's integrated into so many other services it won't just roll over and die.

It'll be like Google+, it's an option but people will stick to what they know already.

Google's user base tops Dropbox by ~250 million. They might be late but they will dominate the market.
