I think it's OcUK that supply the Haribo, as I got some with my waterblocks. Scan sent me some Ipod Nano covers with the 680's. Although they're not much good to me.

    Nice one.

About the same, as it only uses 970MB VRAM at 1920x1080.

Crysis 2. Maxed with HD Texture pack. 16x AF 16xQ, CSAA. 2560x1600.

I've been playing a few demanding games, and have noticed the VRAM usage is a lot less than the GTX 580 3GB. Playing BF3 on one my my favourite maps Kharg Island for example - With my 580's, I was hitting upto 2.4GB VRAM usage, but with my GTX 680 4GB on the same level and settings, I was only hitting 1.9GB VRAM usage.

Crysis 2 is the same, as in this level, as before I was hitting upto 2.8GB VRAM usage, but as you can see from the Pic's, I'm lucky to get over 2.5GB VRAM usage.

Yes the Kepler cards definitely seem to manage memory better than their Fermi predecessors. Could you post up some BF3 screenshots when you've got a minute?

    Cheers.

Nice cards! This thread reminds me why I should have stuck with EVGA and their step-up program.

    BF3 benchs please simon!!

Would love to know the difference between a single 4gb and a single 2gb.

It will help me (and probably many others) make their next GPU purchase decisions!

    BF3 Ultra Setting with 4xMSAA 2560x1600.

Seems like the GTX 680's don't use as much VRAM as the GTX 580 Classy's.

Consistent 2064MB-ish. Hardly seems worth paying for that extra 2GB when you only seem to need another 192MB, huh?

Another way to look at it. If it's maxing out the VRAM of a 2GB card now in the most popular titles. How long will it be before you have to turn settings down on new games?

Intresting to never see usage above 70-80% in those screens wonder if bf3 is really pushing the cards to the max

I think a reference gtx 680 4gb and waterblock will be my next gpu purchase. Just need to decide when really, the gtx 480 is managing at my res for now in most stuff.

My 4GB cards will now do me till Maxwell, as the jump up to these, was IMO a waste of money. -But hey ho...:)

You are looking at the wrong figures. :)

Can test Pac Man as well, just to make sure the 4GB VRAM, isn't going to limit the FPS. :D
