    Siemens S25!

It had a colour screen and was awesome. Until it got ridiculously slow.

Don't remember what my first cellphone was, but it died a glorious death.

It fell out of my pocket in the moshpit for Korn at Download Festival in 2007 and was promply lost/crushed/drowned/destroyed in the ensuing chaos that is Korn

Probably something like the Nortel M900 back in 1997...ish. I agree with Krikkit - they may have been simplistic bricks compared to Galaxys and iPhones but I loved mine. Then of course I got a Nokia which blew my mind. My how things change.

An O2 X1i. Can't remember all that much about it, except that I broke the screen while trying to remove it from my pocket while walking and dropped (almost flung TBH) it on the pavement...
Then a Motorola X220. I had such envy of RazR V3s...
After that, a Sony Ericsson W350i - revelation, I could finally do away with my MP3 player. I had it in white, which actually looked pretty swish at the time. The first phone I has that I used for more than just calls and texts.
Sticking with Sony, I had an X10 Mini, which suffered for a lack of support from Sony, and from bloatware. Once rooted and ROM'd up with a CM build, it was much better and more usable. Browsing the Internet on such a small screen was a bit painful though.
Then I got my first "proper" smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy S II - brilliant phone, especially with all the Samsung pre-loaded crap and TouchWiz removed. Have been running an ICS build for a few months now (got one of the leaked builds, with all the Samsung stuff removed).
And now I've got an HTC One X, and it's a joy. Again, rooted and has a custom build on it, but it retains Sense, and is more bug-fixes than anything else. First phone where I think the white looks better than the black version.

Looking back on this lot, I'm amazed that I've never owned a Nokia. Perhaps I wouldn't have gotten through so many phones if I had...

Sony CM-H333 - the original "Mars Bar Phone".

It was so cool in 1993/4 :jawdrop:

My Ericsson GA628 was my favourite though, I thought I was the coolest kid in school because my phone had interchangeable colour fascias.

EDIT: Because everyone else decided to brain-dump their mobile phone history:

    1994 - Sony CM-H333
    1996 - Ericsson GA628
    1999 - Motorola V3688
    2002 - Sony Ericsson T68i
    2003 - Motorola RAZR V3
    2006 - Sony Ericsson W810i
    2008 - Sony Ericsson W890i
    2009 - iPhone 3G 8Gb
    2011 - Dell Streak 5"
    2013 - ????

The phone which missed all the fun of ASCII art SMS messages, because it had only 1 line display (+1 status line) :D.

Nokia E71 - The best phone ever made IMHO. The OS and screen were terrible though. I miss this.

HTC Desire HD - It's good but I want my QWERTY back. :(

Nokia 7110 with the slide down front. Sold it to a friend when he moved over from Canada as he needed something. Bought another one off Ebay not too long ago. Awesome phones, still has the 'ooooo cool' factor when people see it

Ive never had the need for a mobile phone.

However its nice to see how they changed over time.

Do they even make a phone now that just allows you to make phone calls.

Philips C12 around 1999 -- with that and my Rio PMP 300 I was pretty high tech.

I'd still be using the same SIM now if it wasn't an older type (believe they went from 3v to 5v, or something)
