My first was the Phillips Savvy also, followed by one of these; Then a horde of Nokias and a Siemens C45 (remember shoot the balloons?)
Nokia 5210 - chubby little thing. Also had: Sony z600 - Terrible in every way. Sony K750i - Fantastic. Camera was amazing for its time. Nokia N73 - terrible, fell apart Nokia N82 - amazing phone. It had an incredible camera, real flash, GPS, wifi, decent MP3 player, a few days battery life, VoIP and an alright browser, and the best keypad ever. I could text people in lessons without taking the phone out of my pocket. Samsung Galaxy - first non-google android phone. This was terrible. Had to ditch it after a couple of months. HTC Legend - looked gorgeous, but was otherwise a bit meh. Nokia E6 - not mind blowing, but the best phone I've owned yet! Real keyboard, good camera, excellent battery life, made of stainless steel
First phone was a Motorola T180 on black on one2one. Seriously contemplating the purchase of a Nokia 3310 for Airsoft weekenders. It would save risking my lovely HTC from getting shot out and the 3310 is available for peanuts on eBay... Sent from Bittech Android app
Mondial ML808 was the first mobile I had. I think my second phone was the matrix one from S/E. I was Neo.
I also had one of those, loved it, the roller was so awesome to use. However, it was not the phone from the matrix the common misconception held by many, it was simply the mass marketed sprung slider phone which made Nokia millions. This is the actual matrix phone My first phone was this pile of utter garbage
NEC DB2000 http://www.mobitola.com/phones/NEC/DB2000/ In a land where all of my phone-bearing friends had Nokia 5110s, I was my own man, and proud. I do kind of miss it, too. I might reminisce... memorable phones that followed, to strain my brain... Nokia 8850 - Sooo shiny, with a blue screen, say no more Nokia 8890 - As above, but I could take it with me to the states, result. until the screen started going, continuously, think it was replaced with a... Sony Ericsson T68 - Not the powder blue "i" version, the gold-ish one. Colour screen, joystick and FREAKING BLUETOOTH (which nothing used) Nokia 8910i - seduced by good looks, but sadly not that great a phone Nokia 9210i - Seduced by functionality, but not entirely portable Nokia 8800 - Seduced by looks yet again, and not a great phone again... but so damn pretty that I put up with it for quite a while. To this day the sexiest phone I ever owned. Some more phones, I think I went through a bad patch here, as nothing stands out, but did have a SE P900, Motoroly RAZR, Nokia 72something somewhere around this time, perhaps others, but nothing memorable HTS TyTn2 - Stellar hardware, crippled by WinMo 6.5, shame, still loved the phone though HTC Magic - still have it as a backup running CM7 - love it to bits, if a bit slow Nokia E71 - work phone, still have it in a drawer, unused, but another really great phone crippled by a pants OS HTC Desire - Nuff Said HTC Desire S - Like above, but better HTC One S - Current phone That was fun
Right, time to see if I can actually remember all mine: Siemens A50 Nokia 3310 Nokia 3220 Sony Erricson K750i Samsung D900i (had a nice quirk of turning all my contacts names in to binary) Nokia N78 HTC HD2 (loved this phone, if only it wasn't for the poor WM6.5) Samsung Galaxy Nexus Amazing how far tech has actually come in a relatively short time.. Kinda want another HTC, I just don't like the HTC Sense GUI, that's what put me of the Sensation.
It's definately not the first I've owned, but this is what I have now! Nokia C1 Oh yes! Basically work gave it to me when I moved out here. As they wont pay for a data plan it works out pretty well. Surprisingly I dont massively miss my iPhone4. Yeah it was quite nice to have the net etc on it but you really learn how easy it is to live without it when you have to. It's quite freeing only having a phone that talks and texts!
Sony 'Mars Bar' circa 1993 I've still got it somewhere with all my other mobiles. They don't build to the same quality any more.
Nokia 2110 (massive lols) Motorola Star-Tac (am I the only one who had one of these?) Nokia 3310 Nokia 3210 I forget after this...
That was my first as well followed by a Nokia 5510 which was more or less a 3310 with mp3/full keyboard. Nokia 6230 Sony Ericson Cybershot C902 iPhone 3GS
Motorola MicroTAC -- state of the art in 1989! Law firm I worked at arranged an employee deal to get phones and plans at decent rates. Ostensibly it was so the attorneys could have them, but any employee could participate.
In order: Ericsson a2618 - keyboard died Siemens A50 - still have, works perfectly Siemens CX65 - smashed during linkin park concert. Nokia E61 - still have it, works perfectly, survived numerous tumbles down the street Nokia N9 - current phone
Oh, mobile phones Here is my list, I still have most of them in a drawer; at all began with a Motorola CD160 Panasonic G500 Nokia 7110 Magcom (Norwegian Phone, still the lowest SAR phone ever) Magcom again I have both the Magcoms, I really need to get at least one of them to work again. Panasonic GD67 Motorola V3 Razr Motorola Razr2 (no need for pics for the more modern phones) Iphone 8GB Iphone 16GB Iphone 3G 16GB Cheap china android dualsim-thing Samsung Galaxy SII Oh, and just recently I bought a Motorola DynaTAC 8000X with the intent of building it into a fully functional (kaypad and all) bluetooth handset
Oh we're doing lists? Right *dons brain kickstarting hat* Motorola mr201 Nokia nk402 Nokia 3210 (awesome!! make your own ringtones, kickstart theme tyvm ) Nokia 3310 (put snake 2 on with no walls+remove case=awesome camping light) Nokia 7110 (second favourite phone of all time and it was brilliant, shame about pocket lint making the snap into a slow slide) Nokia 6210 (meh) Nokia 6310i (A WEEK STANDBY BATTERY LIFE!!!!) Nokia 3510i (seriously good polyphonics for what it was) NEC 303 (first camera phone fr me when 3 just started, amazing camera quality considering and awesome downloadable videos of two aliens murdering each other in amusing ways but i'm buggered if i can remember what they're called) Samsung E720 (great phone, still got it but it's dead ) LG GW520 (what a piece of crap) iPhone 3G (now i have a 4S i realise how shite the 3G is) iPhone 4S
The Mighty Siemens C10 was the first phone I was able to purchase myself: The phone from my past that I loved the most? The Nokia 6310: The battery would last weeks.
First phone was Nokia 3210 Bought a Nokia 6822 shortly after, because I hated texting by numbers Then a HTC Desire in 2011 Took me long enough to upgrade
Had this for about 3 years, it was slow-witted and generally a bit crap. Then again, it did have pacman: After that, I had this little gem. Hexagonal keyboard? : SE K810i was next, brilliant phone in every respect. Loved it, would have kept it if it wasn't cheaper to upgrade to a... Nokia X6. Seriously cheap, had great (offline - suck it Google!) sat-nav. A proper smartphone without the cost. Now using this sexy mama:
Motorola m3788e. I remember ordering it from the Carphone Warehouse through my Sky box back in the day, cost me £50!
