Love the Mountains and porsche shots CMW. Little messing around in PS with a photo I took in Mykonos. mykonos_blue by kch_86, on Flickr mykonos_red by kch_86, on Flickr mykonos_old by kch_86, on Flickr Thanks for the tip CMW ( didn't really notice how rotated they were until you pointed it out )
CMW - the hills and the Porsches are awesome! Glaeken - I really like Mykonos blue My mum was there two years ago, I think. She said it was amazingly beautiful.
Love the shots Glaeken - it's look awesome to have prints of the blue and the red next to each other on on a wall.
Thanks! Yeah really loved Mykonos. Such an awesome little island, and walking around in the town is like a maze. Thanks! I had thought of the same thing And maybe make it a trio with the original in the middle.
Highest res I can find is 1600x1200 . The originals are at my parents house. But I've zipped up the original + all the versions here: mykonos_photos.zip
Found this guy on my living room wall so had to coax him into some portraiture before releasing him back into the "wild" outdoors Two shots taken with the Sigma 105mm macro at f/11 with the 7D at ISO 800 and a 580EX II at full power, bounced; both captures focus stacked in Photoshop CS5. I really miss the IQ of my 1DsII, but the 7D is not bad...just noisy.
I don't know if this counts, but I re-edited a whole mess of shots because there was almost no work to do today. Stonedsurd: I'm seriously jealous of your abilities of taking photo's of some utterly beautiful planes. Only wish I could get a chance to get some snaps of them!
I've seen most of those already @Stonedsurd, but still love looking at the refueling & the awesome Harrier. @Threefiguremini That's some amazing monkey shots!
Thanks. Yep, I've posted the old versions in this thread before. Most of them got a touch of warmth in in the WB adjustment, shifted away the magenta cast from the two harrier shots and the refueling (I'm very bad at getting WB right the first time round), increased fill light on most of them to brighten up the aircraft and then kicked contrast up a notch for some more separation from the background. Dropped blue channel luminosity as needed to maintain some color in the skies. MBM has the old version of the Harrier "Stare", so he can confirm the changes. They're especially dramatic on that one, I think. The Raptor got a lot of fill on the aircraft fuselage, but I ended up leaving contrast as it was, because upping it made the sky too blue and introduced some blue into the midtones on the fuselage as well. This is the first re-edit on all shots except the Raptor. The Raptor has now been edited four times, and I think I'm finally happy with the result
