HMT Pilot by angad84, on Flickr I was bored so I took a picture of my newest watch. I think I might cobble together a wee tabletop studio for moments like this.
It is, as that's what it made me think of. Cheers, the Toms are from my bro's wedding. He's a big believer in what they are doing, so they had the whole wedding party wearing Toms.
Lone ladybird by George.Yoda, on Flickr One of several I took while riding earlier, will upload more over the coming days, had a bit of p lay in Photoshop with that one and quite liked how it turned out
Yeah, it's really nice actually. The lighting is great, but the out of focus grass on the left is a big distraction point in my opinion.
Doesn't bother me really, but fair enough, uploaded a couple more I'll race you to the top by George.Yoda, on Flickr Seeding dandilion by George.Yoda, on Flickr
Love the ladybirds! Second one too actually although I think I'd personally rather a tad more space at the bottom. Also what's the dark corner?
Uploaded several others to my flickr today Got some more I will probably upload tomorrow/later tonight. I was in a slightly awkward position, lying in the slightly damp grass/mud, didn't want to stay too long, and had already shot several shots of the same image with settings waaaaay off Photo composition is still one of my weakest points in my opinion, learning more and more as I go And I'm not sure really :/ Could be my glove I was wearing?
You could try a vignette to make it less obvious, or just crop it out. Good composition doesn't necessarily getting it 100% right in-camera, do you do much in the way of post? Not that I'm anything close to being an expert on the matter It' a really lovely photo otherwise though, seems a shame to just fire it up without sorting something like that out.
I don't do a lot of post processing, I just try the various auto tools and see which one I prefer the look of I don't even know what a vignette is/how I would apply one
