you're right ! I wasn't sure if I'll use one for the reset function or to eject the slot-in.

Now I think I'm gonna choose the eject funtion if it's not too complicated !

I like big builds, but i often find i love the SFF builds even more. The amount of workmanship that goes into something so tiny is astonishing sometimes.

This is one of those builds that astonishes me.

:hehe: you make me laugh Leslie !

Some news of the week end: I pass the vernish on the cube, paint and glued the grill in the cube and realise a big part of the sleeving. Still need to sleeve the ssd + slot-in power cable, and find a sata3 cable for (straight/angle 30cm length)

little work of this evening based on the cpu fan :

As you can see I paint in white the blades and I shortcut the cable to make the cable management easier.

    Good night bit-tech !

Hi ! Little update still about the cpu fan :

new picture by day this time
    [IMG]

    with a new filter
    [IMG]

to let the slim fan take more fresh air I cut and paint the metallic cube

to help the comprehension this is where the metallic cube take place inside the plastic case

little zoom on the space between the two parts, where the fresh air can circulate to the cpu fan
    [IMG]

    That's it ! :dremel:

I absolutely love this build. It's so clean and makes great use of the space. Might have to try something like this for an htpc some time.

How are you planning on running the cables to this?

If you had a wood desk I would have suggested drilling a hole on your desk under where its going to sit, but with glass you're going to have ugly cables running to your beautiful machine?

Ok, even if the weather isn't beautiful, I take some picture of the final result !

First, I would like to thank everyone who follow my project, also I want to thanks my sponsors who for their help and for accept joining my project.e :jap:

    Now the pictures !!
    - first the internal chassis :

    - and the cube on the desk
    [IMG]

    like this :)

    That's it !

So my first impressions are :

the fan slim is really quiet, so I don't think I'll try to keep him fanless but just undervolt him to be inaudible. Big deception with the chassis'paint, because it deteriorates every time I open the cube ! Also the cable management could be beter because the cube is really small so some of my cables are really twisted.
Anyway, the project isn't perfect but I'm ok with that for the moment, and I must admit that after 3 months I was really impatient to finish this little project ! :D

Thanks again everyone for yours messages/help/encouragement and please let me know yours feeling with the final result !
