    I suppose if that's their preferred method, why argue?! They probably use slightly flexy paint for fibreglass bodywork anyway to avoid cracking, I seem to remember reading the formulas are slightly different.

    Ah, not quite the same then - for a moment I thought you'd gone for the same colour as my Dad's XF-S is, "Black Amethist Metallic".

    All set for Stoneleigh!

    MOT passed, on the second attempt. Failed on a perished ball joint cover, so after a Le Mans style strip down of the front end and replacement of said cover, I got retested 30mins later and she's now road legal again.

    YAY!!
